Just wanted to hear peoples thoughts on weather it is worth doing the Xecti chain? Also is it worth choosing the Governor class?

The chain provides a lot of great planet artifacts...being xecti...on the other hand kind of sucks, unless you want to just be a turtle. Governor if you want events happening on colonization and invasions almost every time and maybe an event daily..o and a huge target on you back for people trying to get the 6 hrs of production from the raiders cache.

Governor - HELL NO StrmAvenger wrote: Governor is really quite useless. The events have a negligible effect, which, when multiplied by 3, is still negligible. It also gets WORSE as you go up in ranks, as when you get an event on one of 10 planets (although any Xecti with 10 planets is not playing well, or went for Xecti very early) is a... 3-4% increase in that resource, 1%ish overall. You might get a 7-10% increase over the course of a week. If you have 100 planets, 0.3-0.4% increase in that resource, 0.1%ish overall, 0.7-1% over the week. USELESS.
That is also based off of getting on a planet which is ACTUALLY useful and does NOT count events you would have had anyway, so it is a very generous figure of 1%. Also, thanks to the new medals, Governor makes you a huge BT target. Don't pick it. There are some very nice rewards throughout the Xecti chain, but the race itself I would advise against. My £0.02.

I use mine. I get doubled attack, but not doubled cloak which IMHO is their main point.

regardless of what people say ill still be going xecti governor when i finally get there, im looking for blockades, particularly rift blockades. Keep in mind that xecti affect all types of planet events so perm / temp / blockades not just one facet.

I've been a Xecti since the New Era began, and the only change I'm pondering is from Builder to maybe Fixer or Governor.
The mission rewards are great, and you can't beat being under Rank 400, yet still having over 12k unbuffed defense when attacked, plus I've never lost a planet that wasn't intentionally left defenseless.

Annabell, I'd of thought you'd have known by now Govenor has become a death-trap. Go Fixer, it can't let you down.
