Sometimes when I'm on GL when I press a button (literally every button) it stops working. The little click action still happens but the little loading bar doesn't show up and nothing happens.

normally happens when your computer is lagging or internet is busy.
happens to me occasionally, but another click solves the problem.

Happens to me CONSTANTLY, on MANY computers (3 at home and all at work). My laptop is an i7 with 8gb ddr3, good internet, etc...drives me CRAZY. It happens most when a Queen pops up or when in any other kind of ugly battle (pvp)...

I emailed Dan, he told me that it must be just clicking too fast, however there must be another source of the problem. It happens even at random/idle/etc

If anyone figures anything out PLEASE let me know...

I'm guessing the problem is your browser. IE has a nasty habit of being the most sensitive to JS error. Stuff that Chrome FF safari and every other browser will view as a warning ie 7 will crash on and 8 and 9 will sometimes follow suit. If you are seeing this on IE based browsers only then fixing this is a real headache and from personal experience i can tell you Dan or any other programmer could spend several nights cursing the blood of Bill Gates and never get it fixed because the JS compiler used in IE browsers still has legacy code from netscape that is no where near complaint with WC3 standard (IE Emphatically denies this).
