I think theres a bug with the trap. I havnt attack another player in several weeks by my traps keep getting removed and opening me up for attack. I dunno why this is happening, its not informing me that they are being set off at all.

Do bases count as player combat and remove the trap as well??? (i attack a base and it still shows my trap listed on my buffs)

Bases don't count; you're sure you haven't hacked, used an artifact on or invaded a planet, or used an artifact on someone else?

The same thing happened to me. So now i have given up on NCCing and missions. If i am going to be attacked it might as well be worth it

If you feel sure you haven't performed any offensive actions then you might need to send an in-game support message.

I have done nothing, im sure of that. I havnt had alot of time to play lately so i log on and get my resources, maybe shoot at the base if my legion has one up and burn some energy on npcs or missions.

Yet i get disabled every other day and never does it say that the halcyon trap goes off, it just disappears.

in order to narrow down what's causing it.... check after every few minutes of gameplay to see if it is still up...

...maybe there's an artifact or something else that's improperly triggering the drop

I can confirm that when the Halcyon goes off, it doesn't give a msg. I know this because someone tried to hit me in the middle of the night and did some other actions before they triggered the halcyon. I had some dmged hull and no peace effect(wore off probably). The halcyon was gone, and no msg.

well that's probably the issue right there

Dan... we're missing the trigger message when the Halc is tripped

We are seeing Halcyon Trap notifications being sent on both sides (when the ship is under attack).

Note that there is no notification given when it is removed from offensive actions, however. These include using artifacts against enemy ships.

Yes, or it was overlooked in the Ships Log. We would need to know the name of the character or see an in-game support request to know more.
