Trap 1 year: the next time the planet is scanned or viewed by an enemy it will notify the owner and prevent the enemies from alerting it for 24 hours. best used on planets not scanned by other ships

New Mission Intel

The Xecti Incursion
Step aside Taltherian. It has taken us many cycles to prepare our return, and The Pathway must be rebuilt. Our Agents fulfilled their purpose, and your weapons will no longer harm us. The Galaxy and its colonies belong to the Xecti now...

25 energy x 60 rounds for a completion= 1,500 energy

Xecti Pathway Detector- [Trap - 1 Year]
The next time the planet is scanned or viewed by an enemy,
it will notify only its owner, and prevent enemies from
alerting it for 24 hours.
Best used on planets not yet scanned by other ships.

This mission will end after 15 repeated completions= 22,500 energy

im not surprised if this race becomes a playable race.

Either + to base attack or + to planetary invasions.

It will have to be a very attractive race to draw people away from Taltherians, Kronyn, or Drannik for the npc attack. I don't think folks will be as wild about more base defense... not enough to make them change races I mean.

Great device for one of the unlockable planets that you get from missions =) get notified of a scan, then flux the planet =) ...unless the scanner takes over the planet before you manage to do so :/

well most of us who do a lot of base attacks might use that. but ya 30% base defence is not really that big. Lets see..

well I was going to say 40%...now that I think it'd have to be at least that since you can get the 20% boost from being aerlen and you don't have to unlock them

I say it might be a defense boost though because that's what their main ability seems to be so far

That is....... a very bad reward. Whats the point? Okay, so the guy cant post it.... but he can still take it.... and if its a good planet why would he post it for other people to take it..... and .... ya I dont get it. Maybe... no still dont get it. A year long trap though, thats pretty cool. I would rather see a planet structure that alerted you every time someone scanned the planet. Now that would be sweet.


Now with the xecti race bonus it would have to be 50% def bonus not forty because aerlen is already 30. It will probably be an ability bonus. I dont think we have enough info on them to really guess with any accuracy. But for wild guess sake Im going to say that its planet invasion bonus of 40% for two hours available every forty hours.

It would mainly be so that your alerted that the planet you put it on, which should be one of your best, has been found. hopefully you would be online and have a planet flux or temperal orb handy, if not, then you can brick the planet till you do get one.

yeah, it's for those few planets that are great, have and have a lot of defenses already, my good planets will hold off anybody rank 5-600 and below unless they get that lucky 10% take, besides, most top legions will alert a strong planet and just let everyone have a hack at it

yeah i think i will pass on this mission.... Thanks for the info. The device is cool and the duration is nice, but not nice enough to justify spending the majority of my energy acquiring. The Adaptive Spire was cool, and thus far the only one I have gone after.

don't forget you will have to complete this mission eventually if you want whatever race we get at the end of the (usually 8-mission?) chain

That 24 hour will give you a chance to flux before it becomes alerted to legion and then you have to wait12 hours after the alert for the flux to take complete effect.

Um... if you flux it during the 24 hour lockout, its gone by the time the other guy would be able to alert. So there's no 12 window you need to cover with guards. :roll:
