I may be needing a planet flux sometime soon (planning a scan spree in about 5 ranks time), so I was wondering if this concept would work: I say I need a planet flux (or any other artifact) Then, someone who has one posts on the thread what they want in return for one. After this, someone else, who owns a flux, can undercut them with a lower price. The "reverse bidding" then goes on until no-one wants to undercut the lowest offer. The lowest offerer would then trade with the asker.

lol, starting high and undercutting with lower bids, then a flux would become 1 dynite. you have a crazy idea there, why dont you test it and we'll see how it ends up =P sell a flux for 100k EM first and say, you must place a lower bid than the other person to win. i'll join.

You should try it at least.. worst case: you get no response. But if you're going to need one in the next week or so, I would say start trying now. You may not find someone desperate enough right away, but people do find themselves in desperate money situations fairly often. It's worth a try imo.
