Personally, I have to disagree with the whole argument... The seller set a SPECIFIC and PREDETERMINED end time. Deal with it. If you keep adding extra time whenever someone bids, a few things happen. (1) You keep pushing the price of not only one auction up, but all auctions because the next person to auction a similar item is going to say "well he got x amount for the same thing, so my auction starts at y" and the final price ends up being z. (2) You unnecessarily inconvenience the seller because he/she has to sit and wait and wait and wait. They set a certain time for a reason. People are using the excuse of "real life" for not being able to bid before the end of an auction. Well how about the seller? Do you even consider that they might have set the end time to suit their own "real life"?

And I would say the same thing regardless of who won. The fact that it was my legionmate that ended up as top bid is immaterial to me.

This way is fair. It doesn't let people get dogged out of an auction, and all parties should be happy. Littlefluffy is just upset because he isn't getting what he wants, but watch should happen, is a fair result.

No its not fair, because basically just means those who have more cash to throw around will everything and the gap gets wider. You lost and you can't handle it.

if ou were going to snipe at the last minute, you don't show any intention of bidding until the very last minute when you bid

You don't choose anything. It is whoever has the highest bid at the end of the 12 hours + snipe proof time.

yea the bidding time was 24 hours you dont get more time because you wanted to bid higher that's not how an auction works i know you guys want the planet but you cant deny that this is how an auction works.
