Tortuga is seeking more blood... fresh blood... YOUR blood! We are looking for swabs and mates to build up our ranks and defend our own against all comers. We are a Pirates of the Cove feeder legion, so the idea is to create crew suitable for promotion to Pirates when you get past rank around 200.

We have some restrictions on who to hit, and who planets can be stolen from, but for the most part we have little restriction to who to shoot, when to alert, or what to take. Mutual support is the name of the game. The reason for the lower rank legion is to work out the bugs for newer players, figure out who is jolly and violent and fearless in a fight. Pirates are well known to be generous within their legions, and trade frequently with other legions as well. (It is all about the plunder!)

Now to the loot: Our base, The Buccaneers Bounty, is level 4, with a repair bay and combined theory lab, which has 5 discoveries (Crux Amplifier, Planet Flux-Tracer, Spy Probe-Governance, Domain Walker, DM79 Datacenter), and more are soon to be found. We have production set to research, evenly shared, and the yield last delivery was 3859 points per person (6/19/11).

also, your member whitesun, uhh, just completely wasted a mining planet, put a bunch of crap it, like rich mining and sparse research, no mining, 3 research FAIL, maybe that's why you need new members, your originals don';t really know how to play the game except for the leaders.

Who has it? I'll be having a chat with them about resource management. Not saying this is common, but this IS why Tortuga is there, to attempt to correct such things so our members can prosper.

Might surprise you, but nobody was born a good gamer. They became one, usually with help from other good gamers. You have issues with people trying to learn the game? Well, my job is to try and help these guys to become something great.

On a side note, that Whitesun managed to get as far as he has given his resources impressed the hell out of me. His planets are poor, yet he still made it to rank 178 and is even reasonably equipped. I am working with him to fix the issues, as is Ixianna, one of the PotC leaders.

Unlike some of you legions, we are about loyalty and helping each other. I give planets away regularly to my legion to get them more research and better mining. That you feel the need to flame my legion announcement shows your colors. If you ever see mine, we'll have a fight. I don't care if I win, but I sure won't the the loser.


I thought you said the world was bad? If it's so bad why has your guy not stopped continually attacking it? Are you a bad legionmate who lets his fellows take bad planets? Sure sounds like it.
