Are you guys getting consistently filled to at least 50 by listing with open recruitment ? Anyone tried with no min. rank requirement (smaller rank sub legions) ? |

Just use closed. Open is waay to abusable. Meanwhile, having no rank requirement should keep you at 40+ members if you have decent enough stats to back it up. |

How is open abusable ? You mean someone coming back after being kicked ? I can't think of other problems. |

What is more of an issue is changing things on the base and the issue of ability points being spent in addition to soft locking nods and stealing planets. I would go into more detail but I'm not allowed. |

Since then we keep it set at closed. No sense in tempting fate. l.o.l. |

I've seen Anomaly Shadow go from about 20 members to full overnight using the recruitment feature. It's considered to be a 'training legion' but whether they used open recruitment or not I have no idea. |

If it's a training legion, sure go ahead, you got nothing to lose lol. But don't do it on a legion that has a reputation, people will constantly pop up to lock the elites, and do nothing. |

Well I made the mistake of open recruitment but not for the reasons you are thinking. I said no base donations and first thing first recruit did was donate, so it means I need to do the complete upgrade to L6 or L7 before even letting people in to get 100% allocation the way I want it. At least I learned the lesson early and disbanded the legion. Plus I didn't know it but CT Lab roll resets timer so I have to wait a week anyway to build after having already waited a week. Kind of annoying since I have to just sit and wait (can't burn anymore EM on purgers - I need for bases, can't add energy to a base, no point in npcing right now it would just waste ranks). I'll bribe people with credits or planets to be loyal but I just need 50 bodies for base loyalty. I expect turnover but I can just get more noobs to replace them. TBH, sharing base output is meh anyway it amounts to less than 1 prisoner a day for people. Nam did pretty well on 3-4 days a week % allocation, I'm taking it to the next level. I ran the numbers and base output focused on one person is far superior to planets. Open vs. Closed doesn't really matter except if you kick someone who is being rude they can come back. Everything else... well there isn't anything else they can do really. |

As... The Icarium Effect Heres a questions why would you glorify some one who isnt the first or last person who is going to do this? There have been worse trouble makers then Icarium, 90% his dmg is done through words. Yall seriously need to take his name out yalls mouth its starting to come off like your D riding him hardcore. EDIT: for a fact i know Icarium NEVER soft locked any NPCs when he was visiting he actually did 50% of the dmg himself. |

I was merely poking fun at everyone complaining about him as of late and the apparent ban of using his name. I get along with him good and have been a proponent defender of him. It's a joke. That's it. |

As... The Icarium Effect While you say you were joking, it looks more like libel. I have added notes to the above. For someone who values what you say you value, I'm surprised that you posted this, even as a "joke". Maybe we should refer to all griefing by forum post assertions from here on out as The Yung Effect ![]() |
