If you are willing to share, how many disables does your base have? What level is it? How long has your legion been in existence? Just curious to compare with Wombats' base.

Ours has been disabled twice - both due to lack of available defenders - and is level 4.

I think time of existence is also important. If your base is level 4 and has existed for a week having been disabled twice, that's two disables a week. If you've been in existence since the start of GL, that's a darn good track record. I know that my time frames are ludicrously unrealistic extremes, but examples to show why I feel it is important.

Eh. OUr base has been disabled 60+ times. Only recently have things calmed down. I thinks it's because we actually have defense now.

Yep. 56 disables when I became leader. 62 now. Seeing as we're level 5+ and that stupid CT Lab Ship Ally has come out, we'll be getting hit even harder.

17 times. 12 times before we joined the empire. Twice in the 3 months we spent at level 4. Once as a level 5 by the triumvirate. We have been around for about 8 months.

Legion: Ira Imperitus Vis Mortua.

Base: The Unstoppable Army. (Translation of our legion name.)

Hate to be the barrier of bad news.

Your legion name translates to: "Do you want to be rude anger died"

'exercitus invictus' for "army unconquered or unconquerable." I actually think that has a better ring to it if you are willing to change your legion name.

The Unyielding Army > In obstinata exercitus > In the firm of > In firmo > The firm > Firma > Firm

English > Latin > English > Latin > English > Latin > English

Translators will always mess things up. This example was done using Google Translate. :D

You might want to double check the translation.
PatronSaint's translation is closer to what you want; otherwise ira exercitus invicti (wrath of the invincible army) and ira vis invictae (wrath of the invincible force) incorporate some of your original terms

On topic:
Level 5, 33 disables. Legion founded 1 year, 4 months ago. Oww.....

Just gonna kick back off topic for just 1 second, while I explain a little more to you. "Vis Mortua" translates into English as "dead force"

Now, if you know your Physics, you'll know that if something has dead force, it is immovable. Taking Newtons laws into account, if it's already moving, then it's unstoppable, hence our name. The whole things should really be "Wrath of the Unstoppable Army", but it wouldn't let me use that as it's too long. I dunno though. Depends how you translate it, and I don't even know if "Imperitus" is a real Latin word. Any-who, it still sounds cool.

In short: Don't use Google Translate. I'll make your head explode.

Now, back to the topic in hand:

Our base has been disabled by top legions, while I've been in command, anyway. CoI, Ni, CoT, Storms Torment SA, Cosa Nostra, and the rest I can't remember. :/ We're a pretty solid base (now, I think. Don't know what it was like before.), so we withstand most attacks.

I apologize if I stole this thread but to be accurate and to set straight and please accept this because I took the time to look all this up for you in accuracy.

Ira - anger, wrath, rage, ire, passion, indignation

Imperitus - inexperienced, unversed, unfamiliar, not knowing, unacquainted with, unskilled, ignorant

vis - strength, force, vigor, power, energy, virtue

mortua - is not a latin word at all. (closest to that would be mortuus- Dead, such as rigamortis means rigidity of the body after death. the death of the muscles.
-------------------------------------
you could translate - "Wrath unversed force death" for an accurate translation.

exercitus- translates accurately to "Army"
invictus- "unconquer, unconquerable, undefeated."
-------------------------------------
Translates "army unconquerable"

There is no word for "unstoppable" in Latin. Thanks for your time ~Saint.

I apologize again this just has captured my interest for what you are wanting and for a good translation.

"Mortuus Vis Exercitus" - Dead Force Army. or "Mortuus Vis Exercitus Invictus" - Dead Force Army Unconquerable.

With respect to Darth
~ Saint.

Just wanted to offer one last (small) correction: mortua is the feminine form of mortuus, which is appropriate given that "vis" is feminine. However, he needs to put it in the genitive case.

EDIT: nevermind, saw your edits. Those work, as well. Just remember that "vis" is feminine!
