Is it generally considered acceptable to put an entire legion on a kos status for one of the members selling the location of an enemy planet?

It's a bit of a grey area.

Depends if the person selling the planet is the leader or a member, if the legion agrees or disagrees, or if the legion does not care.

Leader and legion was indifferent for the most part.

Like TB said kinda a gray area. Depends on what the plant was. If it was a dyson they sold then maybe, also did they flux it? Those both change the situation alot. Would need more info befor I could say what I would do. Either way it would just be up to you.

My legion is on the kos for selling the planet. Just curious as to what others thought. The active members expected retalliation of course, but did not expect the legion as a whole to be targeted.

Yeah. That would be unusual for just a toxic. Normally people who helped may get zeroed for two days, but that would probably be it.

it depends on the situation: if the legion is ok with it or not. what position the guy selling the planets has within the legion, etc.

So I could win a little respect back after having to ask to be removed from their KOS list for your complaints about what I did to VIF, so don't act like everything was my fault, you generate just as many problems as I do, you just do it in a more refined and controlled way, whereas I am a loose cannon with a sharp and rude mouth that backs down at the fist sign of trouble, call me coward, Idc, I'd make a great politician.

Regards to the KOS thing, really for one planet it shouldn't matter, planets get sold and taken all the time, especially a 15x toxic, but despite it being an over-reaction wars have been started over planets in the past.

I was in one legion to begin with, then I met a player named Vince1980, we left and started our own legion, that legion grew stagnant and he left for WDE, which I soon followed him too, after that I went to Illegals legion Vaders Iron Fist with Vince, after which I spent a day in Jammasiniad, did not like the production there based on my rank and went to Crusaders of Navarone where I built a positive rep, I went back to VIF to help out and Illegal and Vince got greedy and left for WDE leaving me in charge, I then got tired of VIF members not talking and not helping and kicked them all out, when I realized it wasnt going to work I removed all the money from the base and proceeded back to Jammasiniad where I promptly gave them all the creds I had just taken from VIF (positive canceled out the negative), I then went back to Navarone where I stayed for some time before Illegal and Vince once more invited me into a new starter legion, Space Spartans, I did a stint there until we had a run in with a IoN player who was farming our players, I nearly instigated a war with them because I ran my mouth at Namalak, which I have apologized to him for and been forgiven for. I was not kicked, but chose to leave to prevent war, I went back to Navarone where I rose to officer status and was then shortly given command of Hounds of Navarone (formerly Plan9) at which time WDE, whom Illegal and Vince had run back to came after me because Illegal complained to them about what I did to VIF, they took it upon themselves to deliver justice upon me for something that was out of their hands and unrelated to them entirely, I had the KOS on me removed yesterday by Bleepin. After Navarone decided I was a liability and put me on probation I got fed up and left, not kicked, and went to Talon Company, once again I left there, I did not get kicked, Illegal had invited me back to Space Spartans, once there we had problems with a small legion named Outcast Haven, their leader had felt insulted when I told him that his legion was not strong enough to have a Battle Pact with us, and a verbal fight began, which Illegal then took it upon himself to start a war over, which I did not ask for nor did I really wish to partake in, however for the sake of defending our lower ranks I went after Havenx23 and it resulted in my ship being disabled 6 times in a short period of time, I then called the fight off, and threatened SS members to stop hitting him or get kicked (admittedly stupid move and rude, Illegal can testify that I did admit that I was in the wrong on that), so Illegal kicked me out. I then tried going back to WDE, they refused me, I tried Stormkyn Alliance2 and Illegal ratted me out and they kicked me, so I ended up in Beyond the Pulsar, after a week and a half Illegal contacted me explaining that I could come back under certain conditions, which I met, and then today after I had voiced my opinions on selling enemy planet locations and how it could negatively affect us, he did it anyways and I got irritated, called him a prick, made a ruckus about it, and he promptly kicked me once more, I am currently legionless, and I will not go into details about which legions I am currently talking to about getting into for a more permanent retreat and escape.

So you kicked everyone out, stole their base funds and then you think donating those funds to another legion makes it alright? No it doesn't.

Whatever, I dont particularly care what anyone's opinion is anymore, Illegal should have been smarter after VIF and never invited me to any legion of his ever again, anything I've done in the past is the past, if you wanna argue over it go ahead, but leave me out of it, I live in the now, not the then, as for being a legion slut, I have left legions more to satisfy a need for better production, I have only been kicked out of 2 legions and one was SS, over and over, the other was Stormkyn and that was Illegals fault again, and I spent much of my time with Navarone where I have many friends, just not any good relations with the leadership.
