Only level 5 I want to sloooow rank.
Any artifact/legions accepting low levels?
I could "pay" for entry with a demon planet 15x mining. Planet owned by a high level (without legion, maybe he's quit) with high attack 5000+ but no defense.

just a little fyi slow ranking is basically useless unless you are a higher rank and have decent arti production. need bare minimum 5k an hour id say but id go for 8k plus if you want to be able to see any actual impact.

slow-ranking is NOT useless. if you are not a reset, it allows you to learn how the game is played and plan your way forward. being relatively 'stronger' than other ships at your rank level is never a bad thing, and you don't risk ranking out of the range of juicy npc targets.
World Task Force only has a lvl 3 base, but we are focused on artifact production. we expect to hit lvl 4 within the next 2 months. if you don't find a home elsewhere, you are welcome to come fly with us.

He has a point though. Without a solid arti production of your own to supplement your base payout it would be much quicker and more beneficial to rank at even a less than moderate pace. Why sit around and wait for 3-4 days for a lucky prisoner when you could level up and take more planets to get 3-4 per day? Plus no matter how high your base payout, at level 4 your 1-2 planets won't be able to keep you even with the people who have similar base payout and actually play the game. You would actually fall behind rather than gaining on them.

I have to agree with Foolyou on this one.I dont see why people like to slow rank that much.As a low level you get few decks/androids/prisoners a month from base AP.Compare that with a lvl 1000 who makes 20 times more than that a day .You should indeed slow rank a bit but only until you have enough badges to get the battle market items and then you should speed up.Making 1 lvl a month will only hold you back. You can't say that getting 60k AP a day from a base's AP will make you stronger than getting 60kAP an hour from your own AP.
Get the dominions mark 4, quad frames, protean and research the best weapon/defense/hull modules you can until you have the battle market items. Then hurry up with the lvl.

You really do need a good production to slow rank. Unless you've scanned a dyson or 3, you're not going to get anywhere.

Not saying it is always useless as i am doing so right now essentially. (hacking, dumping energy into the base, and some low exp return missions mostly) But thats with about 15k arti an hour not counting base shipments. With small artis shipment though you may be "relatively stronger" as you say than others at your rank, but that amount will most likley be irrelevant because the amount of ship improvement artis you will get will be tiny. Other near your rank could easily be better just because they have gotten lucky pulls or had some better scans than you. varunjitsingh146 wrote: KJReed wrote: just a little fyi slow ranking is basically useless unless you are a higher rank and have decent arti production. need bare minimum 5k an hour id say but id go for 8k plus if you want to be able to see any actual impact. slow ranking is good at any rank if you know how to do it right. doesn't matter whether you know how it requires having good arti production for it to be effective.
