Ok, I've tried building a legion, and did a decent job, but I need more activity/chatter. I am looking to make a move, and perhaps some of my more active legion mates as well. I would prefer a base focused on arti production. My stats: Kongul Fixer Rank 234 kills 649 deaths 242 (insane combat rep) NPC kills 3723 I'm active (on at least twice a day), and looking for a strong legion that is active and chatty. If you think I might fit in let me know. I may also be able to pull some players lower level than me if you need bodies. Thanks |

You could bring your people over to Delta Destroyers and be part of a three legion alliance. They focus on research which would benefit anyone you bring over. |

The Destroyers is a good legion. People are almost always online (Even if they don't talk. Just post something on the chat and they will start talking.) and are really friendly. We are currently working on being more active. I am just there to help with that situation and actually own a legion called the Terranian Armada. The legion here needs a bit of TLC and active members are what will bring in the awesome. So just come on down for a couple of days to test it out and then make your decision. The door is always open. |

'ello bvent, please consider joining Chesterton Royal Academy. We're only a few months old, but we're already rapidly climbing the leaderboard. Our Average Rank is around 255 at the moment, and our Average Strength is roughly 5,500, but that will soon change as our wayward ships return and the roster fills out. We are extremely social and active, housing a corps of at least fourteen Saboteurs, and are members of a Battle Group that regularly raids Level 5 Bases each week. Chesterton Royal Academy also boasts some of the top NPC hunters in the game, so there are a dozen or more alerts in your rank range daily, and we certainly don't shy away from PvP nor back down from a fight. Our Legion Base, Blackwood Hall, reached Level 6 in just eighteen days, is drawing nearer to Level 7 each passing day, and now that we've unlocked all eighteen discoveries in the Collective Theory Lab, it will very soon be 5x Mega Rich in Artifact Production; supplying shipments equally distributed amongst all our various members that'll be ~43,500 AP/day each, upon reaching the full Loyalty Bonus (though it's ~52k RP/day each between now and then). Again we're Chesterton Royal Academy, so just click my banner for more details or this link to join us on the leaderboards: http://apps.facebook.com/galaxylegion/l ... Q9MTU4Mzk= |

I just spent a ton of energy/ctp/em on trying to build a legion from the roots up. I respect that approach, and actually had 27 members, but the experience just wasn't fun. The reason I chose WDE isn't because they're top 50, it's because of the activity & support. I understand how frustrating it is to build a good legion. I've tried. |

WDE again? Would've thought they'd be full 10 people ago. |

Xzien wrote: WDE again? Would've thought they'd be full 10 people ago. Exactly, I am starting to think they must not be that great since so many people obviously leave it all the time. There is no way they keep getting EVERY member who posts on the forums. It honestly just drives me nuts. |

I built my legion (The Terranian Armada) from the ground up. It took nearly a year to get it to full members. The whole time I was loyal to it. Now I am helping another legion which is also having issues building up to do it again. I understand why you want activity but I don't understand why you would choose a legion that already has everything and doesn't really need you instead of a legion that has nothing and would be immensly appreciative of you and your help. Just my two cents on the issue and why I stepped out of my legion to help this one. I just hope that some day you realize that helping others is much better than helping yourself like I did a while back. |

How bout you stop #$&*@ about it? We work by PM mostly. We cannot help it if we are good enough to get the people. And most do not leave, some have jumped to WAE for research base. Honestly, its like its too mainstream to hate the Dysonians, so everyone has to jump on another legion who is doing good. |

Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. I've been with Delta since day 1 and now we're a three legion alliance (soon to be four) and we are close to the leaderboards. The feeling you get when your legion doesn't succeed is difficult, but the reward for seeing your baby get to the big leagues is the best you can ever get in GL. Anyway, I hope you find what you're looking for in WDE |

He took a break from GL and then started playing again and tried to start his own legion. He came back. I understand everyones feelings, because I have felt that way many times. WDE has only been around for less than 10 months. We have always felt like underdogs to more established legions. We try to treat people well and maybe some of that has come back to us in some recent recruits. I don't know. But Honestly, I thought we had positive relations with DS and TA. Not much connection with Coi. WDE is a good legion as well as yours most likely are. But we still have some openings, so until we can max, we wanna keep recruiting ![]() |

Exactly, I am starting to think they must not be that great since so many people obviously leave it all the time. There is no way they keep getting EVERY member who posts on the forums. It honestly just drives me nuts. Interesting deduction. It relies somewhat on the assumption that the main reason people leave a legion is due to some sort of lack of quality within the legion itself, rather than any number of other possible factors (including the fact that they don't always leave of their own volition, and they can also go inactive). I can't say that I recall any sizable number of people leaving recently, other than the usual steady ebb and flow that I suspect a lot of legions experience, so I'm not sure how 'obvious' it is that there's some perpetual exodus going on here. And needless to say, we don't get "every" member who posts that they're looking for a legion. We also have a number of people who have left for various reasons and have then returned, including the OP of this thread. So maybe we really are that great ![]() We can certainly appreciate how difficult it is build a legion from the ground up, because WDE didn't spontaneously spring into (non)existence fully formed, and it has been a long and at times tough road getting to where we are now. Our fairly stable position within the top 50 is still a relatively recent occurrence, and believe it or not, it hasn't suddenly made recruitment a walk in the park, regardless of how it may seem. |
