Oggie, if you'll remember you took down our base about 6-8 weeks ago (Stargate Sg 1). You were kind enough to have a chat with us about how we almost stopped you from taking it and that we would have if we hadn't wasted our ability points on krionite minefields (we'd just gotten the ability to use them the day before). You were both kind, informative, and without the gloating. And yes, our base is now MUCH harder in part due to you (the legion's now called the Terranian Armada should you want a rematch or if you want to avoid it). |

I remember yas now JAWWA an ah already know you Kochan, but, this... dif-ferent Oggie of which you two must mean is a different Oggie all together I am full of selfadoring drivel that makes it ever harder to wade out the door each day! I... clicked abilities instead of artifacts and drove our base abilities out the window, thereby making even easier for our base to be slaughtered, now a 4th time. Although, this was while I was spending money I shouldnt have just to get some more turrets going. <--- idiot! I could find Dominion players on Battle Tab at that time and was CMing their buffs, though we only had confirmation of Dysonian locking... (If they werent part of the attack, I own quite a few of them very sincere apologies - if they were, then I wont feel so bad) Although one member did manage to grab ahold of a Dysonian 15x planet during the attack - neither that nor the pot shots we hit at other Dys planets managed to distract them from their course. Albeit, I THINK it was costly towards the end of the attack, just before: 19 mins ago From: DFRELAT Message Posted on your Comm: TIMBER! Lone.Lycan wrote: actually, i think i noticed that upgrade happened towards the last 30 minutes before the disable... Youre right. Here's to wishing we'd've done it sooner... at least make it really worked for - I'm not sure if jy'all had to sweat much. "My only objection is, you took a planet from MOJO, one of the nicest people out there..." I won't argue with that, but at the time, were were making efforts at hindering the attack in any way we could. It included alerting whatever alerted Dys planets we happened to have in scans, taking pot shots at other ones when alerts were used up, and scouring the Battle Tab in efforts to stymie efforts when we could. In fact, there were players in other high ranked legions with base fighting buffs going and I found myself apologizing to Dominion and Galaxy Desparado players for mucking their buffs with CMs and attacking their ships during that time. Sincerely so. At least one player 'wasn't buying it' and kept looking for holes in 'my story', but as I apologized I presented honest recount of the actions and I can really only apologize and move on, I can't make 'em accept the apology... |
