You will be better off looking through the legion forums for a legion that is recruiting.

Lots of good legions out there but I'm partial to my own, Stargate Sg 1. Come on over and we'll support you learning all the ins and outs of the game.

Tormented Revenge is a good legion for start and they have a lvl 5 base that will help you with resources
