My ship sucks i have spent 800 dollars already 200every month have since i started playing 4 months ago and will for the next year at least(if they make a mmo like command and conquer that doesn't reset every match i would play that but tried every mmo on the market and dont really like them the next one i am waiting for will take at least a year to come out)
my mp is 2k ap is 9k rp is 6k my attack is 4k and my def is 2.5 unbuffed base not konqul
I constantly have tons of planet slots open right now a little low only 15 usually its like 25-50
I Bought all my mission planets have all the ap mods on them but thats about it they are a little low compared to some i have no decks 1500 only i have 4100energy though because the first 300levels i didn't nothing but mission and invest in energy and scan my i get 86an hour energy and am working on getting my last set of relays in 7-10more days

the 200 a month from this point on will go to nothing but refills even though i am out of gp at the moment due to mission planets

Hey matey, I know we are new but Torment is looking good so far. We have an average rank of 187 with 26 permanent members. 4 guys above rank 300 and 1 close to 300. I (rank 447) have over 17k npc kills and Remainder (rank 437) has 15k npc kills.

I have read all the stories on here and I would like to give you a chance. We have a lvl 4 base just now, could be lvl 5 but I am wanting my members to build it not just me.

Torment's new. I joined from being leader of Coadym because I wanted to play in an exclusive NPC legion. It's a growing legion so it's not in the Top 50 but with more strong players I think we could make it.

Me and Bob are the top hunters in the legion and it'd be great to have another one to join us. It's a friendly legion with good chatter on the comm. The base is level 4 at the moment but with artis to reduce base scan cost to 2 red badges.

Some good NPC hunting is what you'll need to boost your planets. Your mining is pretty low. I get the equivalent from just 4 planets. If you find enough TO Troop Carriers you can get yourself a nice exotic planet from the hyperterraformer mission. Lots of CTP from shared elites means you can buy better planets on the forums.

We have a spot for you at The Rangers! Me (rank 645) and my rank 984 officer fill our battle tabs with NPCs 1-2 times a day each. So do a few other members but I'm sure those elites won't give you any trouble. To date we only let 1 XRP Warp Station go (because we had a nice level 5 base up) so I'm sure there will be no problems with NPCing.

We have a level 6 base, it gives out 38000+ research per member per day. We have both PVP and NPC specialists in the legion (encase you ever want to switch over) We have a strong officer corp. and run as a full democracy, electing officers voting on pacts etc. Feel free to ask me any questions, since your PMing ability is messed up, I'll monitor this thread for a response.

I'm sure our research production would really help with your combat rep. I was laughable until I got thetacron weapons researched and i'm sure we can do the same for you if you're interested.

This guy is Shanebetten, better known as the guy who CC'd himself a level 482 tin can, and then goes around spamming artifacts at everyone he can see.

The reason he's not interested in joining The Unknown is that he was just attacking everyone he could see on his BT, and ended up hitting a lot of us (hitting, not disabling - his guns are Heavy Antiproton Cannons). So we zeroed him out

He's been legion-jumping a lot because he gets booted after attacking *EVERYONE*. GP were retaliating against him because of this, and TU, and CN.

If this guy joins your legion, he is going to be a giant pain in your rear, and not bring much to the table. For all the cash he's thrown at his ship, he's got crappy guns and paltry defenses. He will bring down a giant ****storm on your legion and offer little in return. Don't be fooled by that high rank number - he will not be worth your trouble.

That said, he might be a good fit with the Mysfits.

NO matter what you say, I believe deserve a second chance. I havent come across Shane much except a few trades.

Are you guys only going after him for cheap reds or because hes a power ranker? Dont give me the "he attacks everyone" I know plenty of players like that. I even do it myself from time to time.

And honestly, Shane is actually asking for help so why not help him instead of slagging him off.

Plenty of folks are PvPers and attack a bunch. Whatever, that's part of the game. But spamming someone with dozens and dozens of artifacts because you're too weak to take them down, and then doing this to a dozen members of the same legion, and then doing this to *multiple Top 10 legions* is ridiculous. A guy like that in your legion is a liability.

And you guys havent spammed people with arts to disable them? I know I have, mostly folks two or 3 times bigger than me but I still used loads of arts on them.

I guess once you guys dont like someone thats it, they deserve being zero'd everytime you see them. I can understand what your saying and yes I have already read the other thread.

Like I said, he has asked for help. I am willing to help others no matter whether they are rank 1 or 1000. Leading a legion is all about responsibility and ANY member in it can cause problems, which we have to sort out.

Dude, he had to spam someone over 150 ranks LOWER to get a disable.

The art-fest he threw at FR didn't get a disable, and the mini-art-fest he threw at me (comparable rank) didn't get him one either. We weren't the only people getting EMPs and Disarming Bombs thrown at us like candy at a parade...

I know several people in CoT and they're pretty decent people. If THEY wouldn't stand behind this guy, there's a reason...

Got to admit the artifact blitzes without disables were amusing. It's a new record or something.

But whatever. This is a game and it looks like everyone's decided to gang up on this player for various reasons. I don't see anything he's done is particularly bad. He's not bad mouthed any one on the other forums threads. The amount of money he puts into the game is what allows the rest of it to get it for free or for cheap. Sure, he's fast ranked and hasn't got his strategy perfect but whatever.

With a bit of guidance I think his ship won't be so much of a tin can. Basically if he boosts his mining after a decent scan blitz he'll be able to afford better weapons. He's got planet slots free and I guess he's got a lot of energy to do some good NPC blitzes to get the drops to make his planets better.

Then he doesn't need to use loads of artis to get a kill. He'll have a good ship and a respectable combat rep with a little help. All he needs is a bit of guidance.

True, but remember that this is a team game, and being in a legion means working with the team. If you've got someone in your legion that's attacking indiscriminately and drawing the ire of major hitters, that's not helping the legion. And since he's looking to *join a legion,* this merits consideration.

I have put in atleast twice his cash, im not being an ass because of that.
Im sure more people on my legion and other top legions has put in equally or even much more then that and they still dont being asses.....

Keep in mind that we are not trying to cramp his style as far as playing the game, that would be against the ToS. We're just enlightening everyone as to what you would be bringing home if you accepted him into your legion
