The Ferengi is a good legion. Very active and cooperative. But it seems hard to find new members.

Advise from experienced legion builders?

recruitment legions can work well, i have made 2 or three in my time.... either yourself, co-leader or loyal officer create a new legion with a similar name and accept every noob who comes thru, talk to them on the comm. keep it active. most will go inactive but you will get some loyal players out of it when all the actives have left the leader should disband the legion, as not to leave it an inactive legion.

as for the forums.... i have never had much luck.... if you are quick you can get a pick at the legion-less players "looking for a legion". but like the wild, something bigger and stronger will move onto your thread and steal everything.

recruitment banners are cool. fly them carefully, you dont want to be seen as a spamer. i made the PF recruitment banner not long b4 the legion went blurrrrrasdokqn


Sig's can also help... there are several talented "sig stores", but they are often over worked... while your post count is low and you still have your forum V plates you should be using your own sig IMHO

where's the farmers? all i see are fighters...

no silly, i'm referring to that huge picture just above my post that says POTATO FARMERS at the bottom of it, with a band of potato FIGHTERS in the middle...

there isn't a single farmer in that pic....

lol, no they are not farmers. at least not the kind who wield spades and pitch forks.
it all started with the 'jedi potato'. i made it for a member of PF called 'potatojedi' and put it on a sig for a *cough *couch different forum *cough. i then designed several other potato's in the same style.... some were related to our members, others werent.
when the vygoid Genome recruitment posters went up every where i decided to make my own.
