So as you read in the title i would like to know what general area would be good to start off my own legion? Im currently only at level 77 and i have just started to use the slow ranking strategy at the moment.. I have plenty of income from my planets currently that is, im sure things will get a bit tougher higher up in level. Any suggestions would be great.

level doesnt matter its all about your leadership capability. are you ready to lead ppl deal with the politics, the drama and the wars?

I'd say Rank 100, you've got the in's n out's of everything by then
I started at around 70-75 and it's been a strugle till just a month ago it's gotten so much cooler! now being a rank 160

As a matter of fact i can deal with politics (i actually have to do that in real life haha part of my job) and i can deal with drama, its the wars that would concern me, since im so little in this big game it would be rather difficult to stop other legions if they bigger in size.

As long a you know what you are doing your level doesnt matter. It's all about how much effort you put into it.

Ive been leading legions since i was level 10 and never had many issues if i had 40 members half inactive or 7 members all active didnt matter i still did my job as a leader. as i said before rank dont matter i could reset my account right now and it wouldnt change my leadership cababilties yea i couldnt fight aswell but you dont always have to fight, there is always a peaceful option, and i always give that option.

Like everyone else said, Leadership is key, but if you have some pals that are great leaders and you just act like the boss....that works too...LOL

yeah, as was said above. its all about your leadership skills for controlling your members, and your charisma levels when dealing with other legions, such as talking mergers or diffusing wars. and at times, its your loyalty and fearlessness, taking on opponents that are much more powerful than yourself in order to defend a fellow legionmate.

BUT, it would really help your legion's reputation if you had one or two very high levels around

Many times it seemed my legion started to fall apart with many people leaving, but don't get discouraged!! If you do well recruiting, you'll be able to get just as many members back as you lost, if not more! That's coming from my experience (if any, lol).

I started one at rank 50-60, and It has been a success. Granted we're not the strongest leigon in the game but we have a lot of fun and work together very well. It's all about whether or not you are capable and willing to lead up to 60 other people, and whether or not they are willing to follow orders or help you make decisions.
