I dont think you guys will ever get that were not talking about each DOO member personally (in most cases) or how you treat each other within your group when were talking about how you treat the community as a group.

I mean, there are a lot of other feasible groups. What level are you now? 150? that is a total guess. No facebook group will ever be as active as the old DOO one. That was one of their saving graces. I tried to start a group of total A-holes but they happen to all be farmers who know how to use basic game mechanics like cloaking. Whatever, I'm used to acting alone in PVP. I think people close to the leaderboard would be the vabuian fleet, starship troopers and the que continuum. It is my opinion that you really don't understand how the upper eschelon of your group operates. It isn't advantageous to you. The people at the top don't farm NPCs because they are greedy PVPers who only buff their stats and jump in on bosses. Due to lack of any true effort, they probably haven't seen the ridiculous benefits of farming solo NPCs. The true upper eschelon already abandoned the rest for those two facts and generally operate the same way in a 50 person unit. Being in that group actually is advantageous.

actually, I'm 123 , my experince is only with the people I know so you may be right, I've been in Knights for most of the post change so I have no idea how it is in other NOVA and I don't consider Dysonians in NOVA , others may disagree but like I said its about fun and when it quits being fun, that's the problem

Oh, I'm Baltar in the game. I took it upon myself to F with that group in particular for quite a while. I don't know if they got stronger/smarter in reaction to myself or good leadership. The thing that seems weird to me about ex-DOO people in general is that they have no concept of "laying low". If I constantly attack everyone on my ship's log, I would expect it to be reflected on what would be an interloper, since the word "offender" is totally pointless when anyone has an ounce of history. I've taken breaks from PVP and used the game mechanic of cloaking like plenty of my group has, but is just insane to see how many names on my list I can straight up farm just because I am on some hit list and offense against me isn't considered offense. Anyone less powerful can operate uner the exact same rules and get totally screwed. There really is no beginning to it, and one can only hope for an end. Given that PVP is almost completely optional, the only difference between being in a legion and being a lone wolf iis NPCs and singling people out. If you just do missions you can neglect half of all research FFS. Energy, Cloak and planet structures, thats it. This whole 'protection' thing is based on an outdated scheme, that was coincidentally much more full of s*** than anything going on now.

PS: and singling people out is totally pointless now as it gives them absolute initiative due to action limits. NPC hunting does involve all 4 od the things you can potentially neglect if you just do missions though.

At least I can say when I #$&*@ to you about your "special attention" to me (and you were only 35 levels above me not 150) you went away, Coth from what I'm reading here ain't gonna quit on me till I quit. so guess who I have more respect for.

Oh I don't always quit and it may or may not have been that special. I don't remember. The thing is though. Should you not blame your leadership? I would consider a declaration of war to be pretty offensive... I didn't even know about the one against my group because that is business as usual and most of my group cloaks. I don't really feel bad hitting people however I want if the whole group has singled me out for 6+ months. If it is going to be 200 vs 1 that only means I can fight however I want to and I gain all initiative due to the action limits. If I hack, I'll know I have a good chance at a good planet. If I raid, they probably have ridiculous stacks... or something different now. It is most satisfying to disable people though, it barely raises your actions for how much energy it takes. Before a lot of updates happened, even fighting a losing battle such as that wasn't even an option. Not being in DOO has historically been a huge disadvantage. Imagine if I or Coth were actually on the kills leaderboard for instance. Surely we would be if we were huge dickheads farming kills or something. That was basically what the old DOO system was based around. Feudalistic kill farming for the higher levels and basic immunity for anyone else. Basically, the old leader found another XP exploit and jumped ship. At this point being in DOO may even be a hindrance; I don't know how good you guys are with NPCs.

I never said you have to quit playing, im saying that if you keep messing with my legion me and my legion are to mess you up. The only reason im havnt attacked anyone else is because were handling everyone else fine. Besides, iv done my bit, now im letting my legion have their turn.

As for what Spoony says, I agree and I have too been singled out. I was hacked and disabled several times simply because im the leader of the legion. I really dont feel bad about it considering all the DOO has done to me.

Like I said keep it up, people like you suck the fun out of games by making it personal. I enjoyed the heck out of this game but all this sh** makes it no fun. I can go to work If I want things to stress me out on a computer and I sure as hell don't have to pay for it, tell you what Coth, YOU give Dan my 20 buck a week or so. I won't anymore

I don't know about USNR, but the Adepts I find to be quite reasonable.
I was hacked by a member approx. 5 levels above me, he failed losing 0 research. I retaliated 1 successful hack for 0 research. I posted to him that since no research was gained or lost, that would be the end of it. and he replied "Thats fine with me."

I can really say that the only news is bad news, and I don't hear anything about the Adepts.

my current legion concentrates on NPC and mission completion and we stress not to attack unless attacked first .
that being said its relative someone 5-15 levels above attacking someone isnt that bad but if its more like 25-100 id say thats an issue and unbalanced at best not very sporting .
