I would like to apply to Galaxy Desperados, I noticed you have a slot left. I'm a fairly serious player and I'm interested in fighting higher level NPCs (I went from rank 90->120 fairly rapidly and I'm 10 levels ahead of the legion officer now, I've kind of outgrown it and I pretty much fight all the team NPCs on my own at this point since there's only a couple people who are high enough to help). So far I am a no-GP player, since the free facebook credits I get at work every week aren't accepted here (yet), but I learned that artifacts can do quite a lot for dedicated players. I am a Vygoid Excavator (formerly Builder) and am conducting data analysis on artifact drops right now (I have a programming and math background as well, my job involves software testing). I like to analyze how games work and optimize aspects of my play accordingly, and share the findings. I enjoy team play and will assist others when I can; PvP: I have recently started hacking/raiding for extra AP/RP or to unlock missions, but will follow whatever the legion policy is, I'm more interested in challenging NPCs with good/rare drops. Is there something going on between me and your Legion? I have 6 of you in my battle tab right now O_o

Bah! Bad luck on roll on Dysonians' legion side saved your neck on saving your nice misison-made Exotic planet.. We invaded your planet at midnight three nights ago and brought your pop to 1.. About 12 of us clicked invade. ALL failed.. Highest success rate was 11% (that was me) and rest were about 4% to 8%. I would assume that one of 12 invaders would go through and seized your planet but luck was on your side.. Grats on saving it. It was CLOSE call! Bet that you got really scared because I saw massive changes to your planet from production all way to attack/defense structures plus over 10 guardians scrambled to your aid to save it from losing to Dysonians..

Good job! Too bad for us. Grr. Heh.. 11% by me against 10k attack + 10k defense (or 20k+ with bonuses) is darn impressive I would think because I'm actually best invader in the galaxy.. The % will eventually grows as I continue to strengthen my invading power.

With the 10k planet bonus Will? If you got 11% on it that a lot more then i expexted

Sure, I only had 13.5k attack against his planet of combined atk/def of about 35k (modifed with legion bonus along with debuffs) so that makes sense that I only had 11% chance.. It's not just 10k.. You gotta account for 10k attack AND 10k defense ALONG with 100% legion bonus so total is 40k base.. I'm working hard to improve my attack to 20k at least maybe in few months then my invasion on mission-made exotics and dysons would look better.

FYI.. I REALLY am thankful for Dan to put 3x 10k on mission made planets and make it very difficult but still lose against coordinated invasion efforts. Before the change, invading mission-made planets were joke and way too easy. It wasn't right at all. They were supposed to be very difficult.. Now with changes, it's more realistic and I love challenges. We failed our invasion on mission-made GD exotic recently but we grinned knowing that we tried our best and it's something to remember by. If we did invade, it would be great sense of accomplishment. Before the change, just one Dysonian can invade any mission-made exotic/dyson without any needed coordination and it's far more boring and unrewarding for the legion.. Now, we have something to work together to achieve our goals such as after change planet invasions.. Same true for any other legions to promote teamwork.. After change planet upgrades ROCK!!!!!!!!

Thanks Will Geez I'm going to have a tough time getting to 5k you must have an ungodly amount of tactical officers....thanks god for the cloak then....its almost impossible to find....come to think of it how did you find it? I didnt think t was possible to achieve 29k scan

No. Someone (very low rank) outside our legion in very young legion had GD exotic planet in his/her scan who wanted to do us a favor so he/she transferred to our legion for 12 hours to share the planet to give us something to do then he/she went back to that legion. I guess that he/she had weak planet that got massively upgraded to mission made exotic without bothering to flux it off..

Been a while. With the advent of Legion Bases, there are spots becoming available in Galaxy Desperados. We are looking for fun players, preferably rank 250+ that are active in the game, chat and preferably our FB group, too. We enjoy collecting badges, killing NPCs and spending long walks on the beach.

We have a good amount of treaties with other legions.

We are also the proud new keepers of Exotica (special thanks to the other legions that helped us alleviate the Dysonians of the burden).

My Dearest AntihopE, let's not forget our wonderful inter-legion dynamics and friendships we've all cultivated with one another.
If anyone rank 250+ is interested in joining our "family" we would gladly accept your request. We have few rules, other than "don't be an @$$hat" and don't steal planets from legions we are currently in active War Games with. Badges are fine, don't farm, and overall be a decent human being.

I personally came to GD because I stole one of the officer's planets, and was offered a spot in GD for returning it. Best in-game decision I made! This group is loyal, hilarious, and will go above and beyond the call of duty to help out a fellow legion-mate. Overall, we may be ranked #3 but we've all got a Duh, WINNING attitude!
