He argued that you are better off using your xcharge cells and helmsmen as you got them until your arti production as well as defense/shield reached a certain threshhold rather than saving them as soon as you can. I went the other route.

ahh ok. yeah I'm doing that for now but will start saving them more after rank 200.

You could message him and find out how it turned out for him. He went to Supernova before we both finished getting our velox and aegis online so I can't really give you an accurate result from it. Could be worth knowing for when you advise Omicron on which way to do it.
