*rolls eyes* Don't be a drama queen. It's extremely evident that everyone is taking this very seriously - legions everywhere are opening their doors for these people that some know by reputation only. This was tragic, but there has to be some levity to lighten the mood or the mourning period would never end. ONE post that's a little silly is NOT going to offend people that greatly. I don't think you're doing anyone a favor by being offended for them.


And funerals can be sad to mourn the passing, or you can throw a party to celebrate their life. It depends on perspective.

Blitz is a backstabbing jerk, yes, and we're all itching to get vengence. Izzie also tried to lighten the mood with a quirky and catchy invite. Adopting or recruiting - legions are family. So what's the issue?

Pfft. Get off the high horses folks. Yeah, I feel bad that the Dysonians got hosed the way they did. I had three old legion mates who were in the Dysonians and I don't like the fact they got hurt in this. But I'm gonna be honest here people can and will laugh about it. Nobody died. It's a game, remember. And many of those with the tag "Dysonians" have had no issue, kicking the little guy while he was down over the years. Dignity and respect has always been away two-way street, a fact some forgot while driving at the head of the pack, running everyone else off the road.

self-deprecating or self-effacing humour from the "victims" are sometimes accepted. If it's your mom then you are probably the most eligible person(other than your father and grandparents of the mother's side) to joke a bit as you will be the closest thing to a "victom". And culture differ from place to place, some place are more stern where any joke etc would be unacceptable (strict catholic perhaps?) whereas some place they might really toss a party(and I really mean a party party, with dancing and stuff). Based on that, you might have done something that others would consider distasteful, but you also might not, I can't really judge without knowing a whole lot about your personal life and community which I don't plan to.
As GL community is from all over the nation if not the world, we can't assume them to be of the latter and more free nature. As such it would be best to keep a more composed manner, better safe than sorry.
