What’s up everyone, my IGN is Jimjimtata, and long story short, I want to embark on a tour of legions lvl 6+ in order to see new things, make new friends, and find a new home.

I’m looking to stay for at least 1 week in each legion to get familiar with the legion and its operations, although you may feel free to state a time limit for my stay. To clearly state my goals and purposes:

1. See how legion operates
2. Make new contacts
3. Find a new home

If you are interested in letting me in on account of one of the above (if you’re not willing to let me apply as a permanent member, but are willing to let me visit for purposes 1 and 2), then invite me!

My friend Chiaroscuro from CRA inspired me to take this legion tour, as she herself has been around many different legions (and The Emperors too) before CRA accepted her. When she came to The Emperors, she shared many experiences that I had not acquired from staying in one legion the whole time. And so, I believe that a tour would really make me even more active and involved in this game.

Long story:

I started playing Galaxy Legion about 8 and a quarter months ago because I wanted to earn real-life-money-credits towards another game. Having hit the required rank to get the credits, I dropped GL and went onto other business. GL stayed in my head however, how it could potentially be a fun game to play due to the research tree, planet colonization, and other aspects that were different from the usual “do missions and wait for energy regenerate” fare from other apps. I came back, thinking I could look for some fresh fun in another game, and GL has kept my interest for much longer than I expected, due to the community. I met some awesome people along the way, and with them, I figured out how to make good progress in this game. I joined the training legion of The Emperors before moving to The Emperors themselves. They have been my home for the past 85 or so ranks, and I owe very much to them. Shout-outs to Red78923, Trolol0l, Davqul, the officers, and leaders who watched out for me and showed me a fun time! Now at rank 98, I’m seeking to step out from my comfy home and advance my GL career with a legion tour of some of the best legions in GL.

Here are my stats. Ask me for information if necessary through PM.

I would like to highlight that I’m a vigorous and hardworking pvper. I think pvp is what really keeps me in this game, because it is what brings GL players in contact with each other to foster activity, be it friendly or hostile, and measures your efforts in all other aspects of the game, such as increasing planet production, npc-slaying, and mission-accomplishing against that of others. I’ve been ranking almost exclusively through pvp, also because I want to get the badges earlier when they’re easier to get. I believe however, that I will soon need to leave the comfort zone of badging nicely and get down and dirty into the realm where everyone becomes a target worthy of zeroing. To prepare for that, I need to acquire greater strength, which seems to be disproportionately related to one’s artifact production and the might of one’s legion. I want to observe how many higher ranked players navigate and stir the increasingly complex waters of the game, and how they do it together. I want to see what makes a legion wildly active, successful, and game-changing; I want to be part of one. It is for these many reasons that I aspire to visit lvl 6+ artifact-base production legions.

When I say I’m hard-working, I glance at the BT almost every 10 minutes when I’m not in class (in-class too sometimes XD) or asleep, hoping to catch more prey (they get more and more scarce, unless you get more powerful :D). When I’m pooping, I wonder if my next artifact shipment will give me a mass storage pod. When I’m sleeping, I dream of a lvl 9 base. When I’m not paying attention in class (the parts that don’t requires me to take notes ;D), some weaker ship is getting my attention. A side-effect of all this is my active participation in the legion comm. I would love to find people who fill up the comm/FB chat a lot, and especially people who share interest in anime/manga and League of Legends, and people motivated to advance themselves in GL.

So if you’re interested in meeting a mature, talkative, curious player interested in advancing his GL career, post your legion below! Thank you!

A few disclaimers:
I am also looking to visit lvl 6 research bases, because I want to finish up my research before I settle in long-term in an artifact legion. If you don’t mind a temporary visitor who is willing to actively participate in legion activity, invite me! I may also not be able to visit every base that is willing to invite me. Also, I do not have a set date for the start of my tour, although it would be epic to start it at rank 100 ;) . I would like to stay for at least one week in a legion to see if I mesh well with it and to get to know the people. The order of the legions toured may be affected by factors including legions' availability and personal preference.

Thank you! Here is your free lightbulb for reading to the end:

Previously With
The Black Knights (training legion of The Knights Who Say Ni). I arrived due to circumstances, and although they're not lvl 6 yet, they are a legion worth watching. The leaders are powerful, resourceful, and knowledgeable. The learning and legion activity are well-documented and well-organized through various modes of Facebook communication. Newer players who know pvp is important, but seek further guidance should get in while there is still space.

Currently With
10/19/2012 Waiting for the Galactic Crusaders to let me in. Floating in space and pew-pewing as many ships as possible before I belong to a legion again.
