That's original recruiting! I like it! Not the minimum rank being worried over, but the attribute that actually matters (in terms of war and overall legion strength), ship strength!

Figured I'd go for a different angle. And coming from another legion who stands out for their strength over rank, I appreciate your words. I know we've had great battles with your legion a couple times, and you guys have impressed us more than many others we've warred with.

I agree with you there, I think why most people have rank placements is because as a general rule, bar slow/freeze rankers, high rankers are generally tougher.

For the most part yes, higher ranks will find you tougher ships. But not always. We recently had a ship that was almost rank 700 who left and we didn't barely notice a change in our legions strength. What a waste. Yet you look at The Black Pearl for example at barely rank 200 and last I heard at almost 20k strength. I will take that any day.
