I agree with you, but it's worth noting that Paul did it himself to someone we recruited a couple days ago. It's just the way recruit threads go these days, so if we want that to change we gotta start with ourselves.

True, everyone makes a mistake, and this type of thing is not particularly bad, it would be good without.

It was a pretty easy mistake to make. It's pretty understandable for someone to simply skip over a recruitment post that says "welcome to..."; who takes the time to read all the other recruitment posts in a thread? Seems like a waste of time.

well what if the person making the thread simply changed the title to "closed" or " Thanks for the offers, but I am in ..... now". that would cut down on a lot of unnecessary posts.

And it is always necessary to read every post my good man lest you end up repeating a thought which has already been made or offering someone a position when they have already made up their mind.

i do agree xzien, but some people post just in case the person changes there mind...

I wouldnt make much of a fuss over it, as it happens alot...you just leave it be..
