 Setting Artfact Prority

everyone gets artifacts they love. everyone gets artifacts they cant stand. everyone gets artifacts that are 'kinda useful'. I propose we be able to set a 'priority status' for each artifact through the draw to either high, low, or normal.

Normal will function as is.
High will function as twice as common based on the rarity.
Low will function as half as common based on the rarity.

This would solve the problem with the mass storage pod level gap usefulness, the null fuse rarity for high ap players, having a shortage of specific artifacts, etc.

Now, i know every player out there is probably gonna set every permanent ship buff (brackets, cells, prisoners, etc.) to high priority, however this will not matter as the more artifacts set to high priority the rarer they become, and the commonality is based on current rarity status, so a twice as likely rescued prisoner is still rarer than a normal unstable wormhole generator, and if the player sets the majority of the artifacts to high, then it would be like they set the other artifacts from 'normal' to 'low' and 'low' to 'rare' because of the random draw being overpopulated with high status artifacts.

i LIKE THAT IDEA. I LOVE GETTING ANDROID SCIENTISTS, X CHARGE CELLS, AND DURATAIN BRACKETS BUT I HATE WHEN I GET ARTIFICTS I DONT NEED

lol while players would see a small increase in helmsman, scientists, brackets, and cells this is more of a suggestion for increasing the commonality of artifacts players specifically need for their playing style. Many people love getting crimson oblesks, crystal foci, grid consoles, etc. whereas i just scrap all those cause i never use them. This would help them to get those buffing artifacts more often. whereas most high levels whine about their massive cargo holds, whereas i need at least one msp per day at the rate im going. therefore, i would increase msps and tesseracts, while a high level might set these to 'low' priority.

Remember, this would be more like adding a second listing of an artifact when set to high. so if you have a chance to get

Crimson Oblesk
Ancient Crystal Foci
Android Scientist
Unstable Wormhole Emitter

and you set scientists to 'high' the random selections would look like

Crimson Oblesk
Ancient Crystal Foci
Android Scientist
Android Scientist
Unstable Wormhole Emitter

this is, of course, assuming all artifacts are weighted evenly, which they certainly are not.

Maybe you could be limited to choosing say 5 high priority and 5 low priority, just to maintain balance. We know its all about balance around here...

although this is a good idea on artifacts.. its bound for abuse. I would be one of the happiest player if this ever happens but its bound to have some balancing issues.

I really believe the Mass storage pod should be toned down a bit so that its artifact cost is much more cost effective than the tesseract containter
