Seharai Commander: It is time you know the truth. The Army of Light is more than just a cult of fanatics. When you convert and become a child of the light, you surrender your body to a hive mind. After implanting nanodes into the subjects brain, they can be controlled at any time by the leaders of this cult from anywhere in the galaxy. Entire planets are hollowed out and converted into transmitters that enhance the signals from these leaders, and populations are enslaved to do the bidding of this order. Whats worse, once you are a child of the light, the only way out is to die. Your mission is to go out and capture the pilots of the invading ships, hopefully we can extract some information
of their next move before the leaders kill them.

*Mission 7: The Survivors
Seharai Pilot: <your race>, with only a handful of warriors left, we need to regroup. Go out and build some supply colonies on the surrounding planets so that we can regroup and begin to fight the Army of the Light again. First though we need to rig some transmitters to mirror a pilot of the children of the light and recieve orders from the leaders.
-55 Steps to Completion
-2 Rounds to Completion
-Reward: 2 Hivemind Signal Mirror

*Mission 9: The Disguise
Seharai Pilot: The next step in our plan is to disguise our ships. Go and pick off some of the children's cruisers, we must infiltrate their order as quickly as possible.

The Hunters are ready to be unleashed, and our great crusade will almost be accomplished. Go out and rid the galaxy of darkness, and you shall rule as kings to the heathen parasites we
conquer.-ksshht-

Seharai Pilot: We must get some info on these hunter ships theyre talking about. We picked up an odd energy signature on our screens that registers as a child of the light. proceed with caution, we dont know what these ships are capable of, but hack them for every last piece of data they have.
-30 Steps to Completion
-5 Rounds to Completion
-Per Round: Blue Badge
-Reward: 5 Hunter Training Data- Adds 20 attack to your ship when used

*Mission 11: Spearhead
Seharai Pilot: These hunter ships are troop carriers that carry advanced cybernetic warriors! We cannot destroy all of them, we need to go after the source. If we can cut the transmissions from the leaders to the ships, they will be without orders. Quickly, we must press on!
-15 Steps to Completion
-1 Round to Completion
-Unlocks: The Quick Fix

*Mission 12: The Quick Fix
Seharai Pilot: <your race>, we have a confession. We dont know exactly where the leaders are, but we do know that a fringe colony stopped communication about a month before this cult arose. Slowly we lost communication with more and more outposts and then we started losing ships. What we thought was solar flares, turned out to be far worse. After investigating these disappearences we found out this cult had taken several planets on the edge of our space. We believe the leaders are on one of these 4 planets. For now though, if we can deactivate these transmission planets the hunters should stop their advance on our homeworld.
-75 Steps to Completion
-2 Rounds to Completion
-Reward: Boss Battle- Transmission Planet. Must be disabled like a normal ship, but then invaded like a planet.

Note: Planets would scale to level*10 attack/defense when fighting, but then drop to .33% of players attack/defense when 'disabled'. If invasion fails, planet health regains 20%.
Planet would be Large, no mining, average Artifact, Extremely Rich Research. Does not occupy a planet slot.

*Mission 13: Journey to Forbidden Space
Seharai Pilot: We have bought our brothers some time. But we MUST get to the leaders before more hunters are released.
We have the coordinates of the lost planets, but it will be very dangerous. Follow us, and we will guide you to the planets. It is a long journey, on the way assemble these bio-scanners so that we have some hope of finding the leaders
-55 Steps to Completion
-4 Round to Completion
-Rewards: 4 Seharai Bio-Scanner

*Mission 14: Finding the Leaders
Seharai Pilot: With these bioscanners installed we at least have some some chance of finding the leaders. Be thorough with your search, this is our chance to finish this war.
-35 Steps to Completion
-4 Rounds to Completion
-Unlocks: An Unfortunate Turn of Events

*Mission 15: An Unfortunate Turn of Events
Seharai Pilot: <your race>, we were unable to find the leaders. We have one more hope though. The sun in this system has been altered somehow. Although it appears to be a normal star on the long-range scanners, a more analytical scan shows that it has been converted into a hollow starbase that produces artificial
light and heat for this system. We need to alert this to our superiors so we can mount a massive tactical strike. Quickly, we know a nearby barren planet that we can land on. Take our warp thrusters and warp to our homeworld.
-55 Rounds to Completion
-4 Rounds to Completion
-Rewards: 4 Overcharged Warp Thrusters

*Mission 16: Misunderstanding

and we will hit em with everything we have. You will be greatly rewarded for this information.
-35 Steps to Completion
-2 Rounds to Completion
-Reward: 2 Tracking Becons

*Mission 18: A Light in the Darkness
Seharai Officer: <your race>, we are beginning the assault. While we fend off the Army of the Light, you need to launch this singularity torpedo at the star. Although hollow, the star should still implode and kill the leaders in the process. Hopefully, this
will free the minds of the enslaved peoples that have been assimilated. Act quickly though, the star fortress is beginning
to mobilize!
-60 Steps to Completion
-1 Round Completion
-Reward: Singularity Torpedo (mission artifact)

*Mission 19: Dousing the Light
The Light: <your race>, why do you tempt the Army of the Light? Join us, my child and know true bliss. If you persist then we will be forced to smite you, like the parasite you are. BEHOLD! The full
power of the Light!
-Risks: Chance to take Massive Damage (5000)
-100 Steps to Completion
-1 Round Completion
-Reward: Unlocks Battle- The Light. A starbase built for taking over the galaxy. Scales attack to level*100, Defense scales to level*50

Note:After 90% damaged there is an increasing chance for message "Launch the Missile! Its Defenses are Down!" (chance for
message increases linearly to percent damage done, so at 11% disabled 11% chance for message) Once the message appears use the Singularity Torpedo Mission Artifact to instantly disable starbase.

*Mission 20: Savior Exalted
Seharai Commander: <your race>, you have gone above and beyond the call of duty. For this act of bravery, we would like to offer you an honorary position as our highest rank in ship piloting. Your brothers in arms will of course be promoted to recieve this honor once they are ferried back to our homeworld. Please, leave your ship here while we modify it to fit our regulation specifications.
-10 Steps to Completion
-1 Round Completion
-Reward: Seharai Ship Modifications- +25 decks, +250 passive attack/defense/cloak, New beefed up ship image,
-Ability: Seharai Reinforcements- Adds a bonus 25% to attack and defense for 15 minutes, cooldown 48 hours.

This is my mission chain. Its more about the story than the specifics of the module rewards so i didnt note how much energy or xp would be awarded, nor did i specify the stats of the modules. i did specify the artifacts and buildings, but i felt that was important. I built it to be the 'long' mission chain some people wanted, and would like to see what you guys think of it. and a note about the final mission reward, considering it would take 40 weeks to go through this mission chain, it is supposed to be worth the wait and energy.

Well it's certainty long enough....maybe a little too long, but hey so is the Prejor Saga, so whatever. It's very good, although there isn't much backstory, and the enemy doesn't sound like it should be one...I mean maybe some sort of army of darkness would make more sense than one of light. Other than that, I think it's pretty good. I look forward to any more you make up.

well, im not a fan of defined good and evil. most of the time both sides consider themselves to be the 'good guys', and i wanted to reflect that with this story. Thankyou for your comments, i really appreciate the compliments. and i realized there isnt much backstory, but i really didnt know how to go about doing that one, and since almost all the sagas that are weekly missions just kind of spring up out of thin air, i wasnt too worried. lol i mean, the octafari 'appeared' from under the sea. the stryll just happened to be taking in outside help, and the genetaar sort of appeared out of nowhere. i didnt get a chance to play the zolazin missions as they happened, so i cant say anything about em, but they seem kind of stand alone as a race. but again, thanks for your thoughts. i will definitly define the backstory if i do another saga.
