what if we could sell planets in GTC?
we set the minimum bid and the winner receives a link to the planet in their planet list
great way for new players that have trouble finding scanning for planets and not part of a generous legion to get sort-of decent planets to start out.

not bad idea..but i think alt city would really come into play with that...plus the already super powered would just outbid and steal the best ones

While I love the idea ( and would use it) I think dan's position is he doesn't like the "buying and selling" of planets, he tolerates it but really does not want to make it easyer for us to do it. he wants us stealing/invading planets not buying them.

already the seller loses 20% of the sale and that means that the buyer would have to pay 20% more than the planet is worth

This would be a great idea, maybe a set rank would fix the alt problem, but the problem of alts would break it.

although i like the idea, would just further the gap between the "haves" and the "have nots". Im sure it would not cause too much loss of sleep for upper ranks to drop 1 trillion on a planet. The GTC is already way overpriced.

could be a good thing if you have some people getting into a bidding war because they want the planet.
