 New Ravyn shield mod alternative bonus

Instead of only getting plain ol' % shield bonus, I suggest change it to add 3% to shield recharge.
Shield will now recharge 5% per tick, instead only 2% per tick.

I just feel kinda bored with the same bonus again and again and want something new :)

So you want something that actively works against you during an NPC run? By increasing shield recharge % to 5%, that means your shield bar fills quicker and you lose one of the timers that alerts you to NPC alerts that much quicker.


You also want something that makes PvP even harder. As a person that could refill 25k shield per tick under your suggestion, i find it strange that some say PvP is already hard, and here you are making it more difficult for them.

not happy with the shield factor myself as all it takes is a simple torpedo but i agree with kirk on this big time i refil in under in like 30 mins for my shields with your suggestion it be faster which is pointless

I don't really have an opinion on the suggestion itself but do appreciate the thinking on different types of benefits.

sheild regen growth is junk, imho....it regens hugely already...if you put in HULL regen, that would be interesting

Hull regneration would be pretty bad for people who dislike pvp since they would keep getting more hull/poping back up on the TB. Love the idea for reds, but most people will not care for it.
