Shapeshifter: Allows you to choose another profession available to your race in conjunction with your current profession. Lasts for 1 hour. Ability has a 40 hr cooldown. This effect is immune to removal from other artifacts. Can be a new ally final reward, a new medal achievement reward, LM module, etc. |

It's a creative idea, but it would likely break LM's since those are every 3 days, 4 if mawks. Not eligible for a task? Just use ability and now you are. |

wouuld make scan runs awesome...shift to lith explorer for an hour, when done, poof... Seeing Dan not liking this. If you don't need to spend to shift races/classes then GP is lost. |

Wouldn't totally break LM since there's only a couple that are profession specific. That's kind of the whole point. Granted you are limited to the professions available to your race, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the majority of galaxy legion does not change professions via GP very often. The ability could come from a GP module or ally which would get Dan his desired monies that he most likely would not get otherwise. |

Im going to -1 this, if you want to get a bonus from a proffesion you should have to burn the gp to do it, granted thats a downer cause it costs you but this is the tradeoff, and Im pretty certain that this would result in a net loss for gp revenue. |

Long ago, we suggested that he offer a separate profession or race change for 10 GP. He doesn't lose anything and I imagine more people might be more willing to use it. |

List of professions: http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/Professions 1 Biologist 2 Builder 3 Excavator 4 Explorer 5 Fixer 6 Governor 7 Guard 8 Hacker 9 Merchant 10 Miner 11 Physicist 12 Raider 13 Saboteur 14 Spy of these, only explorer would be generally useful on its own for a 1 hour period. saboteur would completely devalue the zolazin race. biologist would be useful too if you had stocked up on vorean artis. hacker would be useful for the red medal and for a hacking run. raider would be good for base raiding improvement and a raiding run. these would be useful for legion missions: http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/ ... n_Missions: - Explorer, Physicist, or Governor (Carthyne Symposium) - Builder, Fixer, Merchant, or Physicist (Galakis, City of Deals) - Hacker, Physicist, or Spy (Illegal Excavation) - Explorer, Guard, Excavator, or Biologist (Disturbance at Ryelis) - Builder, Fixer, Physicist, or Saboteur (The Ardyne Sabotage) - Hacker (Carjean: The Heist) - Spy or Saboteur (The Tenebris Discovery: Late Timeline) so, overall, much too over-powered, especially if you can repeat it during a 3-day LM period. as ODragon suggested .. a 10 GP cost might work better. the other option is to balance the use. make it so you can change .. but you can't change again or use any spheres / GP race changes for 30 days. that option might be worth 10 GP to some players. |

to me this isnt the worst idea ive seen but with how OP set it up i think its to easy to abuse and to overpowered. i relive there are a couple of ways to tone it down. and that would be. A. increase time from 40 hours to once a week. B. make it so you cant repeat professions until you choose all 14 professions. C. make it cost 2000k ctp to use. All of these were basically off the top of my head so the numbers could be adjusted if they appear to be to severe of a limitation. like i said though i like the idea i just feel to balance it so dan doesnt lose money and that it isnt over powered might be unobtainable. |
