I know it sounds OP just from the title name, but hear me out.


We have the option of using purgers with the quick use button besides planets in order to purge them quickly correct?


What I am asking about is two fold.

1. Enable a quick use arti button at the bottom of the screen used to attack players.

It would say something like

Use Time Manipulator? (X Amount left)

Use Null Fuse? (X Amount left)

Use (insert arty here)


And so on and so forth.


This would promote faster PVP'ing, and a large use of null fuses when it is tiresome to hack for example.



Now the counter to this would be on the PVP OR ship screen. Just a quick list of trap arties that you could use.


Same as above except for traps.


Use Kronius Trap? (X Amount left)

Use Omricon Trap? (X Amount left)

Use QFT? (x Amount left)


And so on and so forth.

Overall, both these ideas would reduce clicks, make things quicker for players defending AND attacking while doing PVP.


Another option is to have 2 or 3 arties set up as "quick use" arties, and have them on the ship screen or Battle Tab.

The idea is NOT fleshed out that well, I drafted this up in my head at midnight while I am very overtired. I plan on fleshing it out more tomorrow.

I would +1 this. As is, when people are in a PvP brawl, we all know you have more than one tab open, dont lie. If you're defending, you're spamming traps in one tab while multitasking in the other. If you're attacking, you have one tab open on nulls, while the other you're happily clicking away trying to get the kill.

provides zero benefit to defenders beyond what they can do now.

ONLY benefits attackers .. and stupid attackers at that. other than taking out planet guards .. taking on someone online is just a waste. not saying that i haven't done it, but those situations are usually more a matter of ego than PvP.

enhancing PvP rewards (MOAR BATTLE MARKET ARTIS) would improve the PvP environment much more than this suggestion.

as for multi.tabbing .. the only time i ever open a 2d tab on purpose is to check on legion info before i decide to lock a base .. and that happens less and less as i now have most of the level 5+ bases logged.

This benefits defenders as well, due to being easier to being quicker to defend against attacks while online.


People who are not good at PVP, due to the fact that they never got it down, or didn't jump on that train early on, this will benefit them for that at well.


Benefits are there, you just need to see them.

if you are 'defending' while online ... and spamming krios .. you are doing it wrong.

Shield restorers, nanodrones and tradmilling for the win.

Use Krios when you wanna let an attacker know you're on.. I've killed loads of people spamming krios, just because they don't repair

if you know the right fiters, you can have k-trap, shield restore and repair nanos all on same easy use page...so you can spam and treadmill...or pick/choose...but i digress

+1 i had an idea similar to this a while ago. Why not have quick buttons for tms and nulls and other stuff ?

Ooh, haven't found that filter yet, will have to see what I can find that works for all 3...

most filters also need a large amount of x artifact to sort it by uses. I have about 10k of each of those artifacts so sorting it by uses makes it quick.

The filter for the one mentioned above would be "when" and sorting by uses.
I just use 1, "ul" and sort by uses(nano, restorer, null, tm, cage) when pvping.

Kindof hard to kill a player online unless they're not truly defending so don't bother with that(if needed it would be "when" and sort by uses)

I found "when" while looking - in fact, "when use" as the filter does a little better, if I sort by target I get them on the same page, but how do you sort by uses? I only see by artifact name and target?

Actually my definition of defending in online PvP is about more than that. And I meant when both of you know each other is online.

The feature works best for wars. Normally I just treadmill, but if its war time Ill spam krios, reps and restorers and another tab also to counterattack and hopefully take them out while they're busy trying to hit me. Its not fun being a punching bag, and not much more fun to just be an infinite health punching bag. I'd rather hit them back when they least expect it and get a few badges as well. Most people don't watch their hull when they're attacking.

Ahh...different screen. I was on the trade tab, never occurred to me to use the uses tab, will have to bear that trick in mind for hte future. Bet it'd work well.

Yeah, I've seen that page before, the specific combination listed above doesn't appear on it however. Hence why I went seeking to figure it out.
