Hello ,
I was thinking that perhaps there could be a couple of easy elites or bosses for trainees only to hit , kind of an easy intro to what they can expect later . These would only go up to level 50 and be relatively weak . They would be 3 person elites I think and the rewards would not be too good , I was thinking maybe a Silthion worker drone , rewards would be 1 energy sac each maybe . Thoughts ?

but at the same time a boss that can only be hit by 10 Trainees would proberly be a bad idear, as very few legions actualy have 10 trainees.
so it should proberly only be a 3 to 4 players elite

also it should proberly be uncommon, to make it easy to find
or even spawned by a daily trainee mission you only get at rank 1 to 50,
othervice it would proberly be to hard to find

Yes it would be nice to have something new in the game for the trainee's "only" & I like the reward too, energy is always an issue at those ranks.

It teaches them before rank 50 that there are Elite NPC's in this game that require coordination/teamwork to kill.


However;

Surely you realize how annoying and pissed off so many people would be, that a near enough silent and marginal portion of this game, got even 1 new npc this quickly and yet the long term players over rank 2000 have been waiting 3+ years for some serious replacements to long disappeared NPC's and have essentially been told nahhhh!!!.

Lets be honest, with a rank cut off of 50, would any of them even see one? I mean it takes maybe 200-300 NPC's to reach rank 50 maybe less since most would be doing a lot more work on PvP or missions. So unless the elite had an amazing spawn rate, they'd likely never see one.



So yeah it would be nice to have new content, i think we can all agree on that. That said, as a person that's been waiting 3 years for new NPC's, no way should that new content be brought in "just" for those below rank 50 when they've got 1950 ranks of quality content still available to them and then nothing else for the ranks that need it the most.

Also, they get introduced pretty early to the idea of Elite NPC's after rank 50 anyway with Lazuli Refinery @Rk.50 & Akkiren @Rk.60.

Just my opinion though.

I would also like to add to this suggestion, maybe Trainee Legion mission tasks, to get trainees in the habit of doing LM's.

this is stupid. there are already a bunch of LM tasks that have no rank restriction.

as for the OP's suggestion .. -1.

in my records .. i was rank 1 in early october 2011 and by the end of february 2012, i was rank 62. so that is 5 months .. and i was a slow ranker.

NPCs should NOT be a priority for those under rank 50 anyway. anyone who recommends that for them is just costing them one of the best opportunities to collect PvP badges.

Dont forget green badges as well

if you had been playing football for those 5 months as well, you could easily have picked up 150 green badges as well at an extreamly low credit cost

but not everyone wants to slow rank or do PvP

For the record you can't invade until rank 20

Do tell me what Legion mission tasks someone below rank 50 can consistently complete?

There will be the issue of providing trainee LM rewards that make sense to them. If theyre on same tier as ours, they won't see the value

Carthyne Symposium and Crimson Deep-6 have difficult but doable NPC hunts at any rank. (Well, difficult at low ranks, obivously, simple at high ranks.)

theire are a few task, but not many
as most NPC task with shared NPC's are rank 200+, like the hunt for T.O. Dropship Carrier (Share for Ranks 200 - 9,999)
and most rank 50 players dont have 10.000 energy to spendt on a LM task

but....

Assault on Crimson Deep-6, Task 3: Restrict Reinforcements
(Disable 30 Crimson Blades NPCs)

Carthyne Symposium, Task 3: Restrict RSL Activity
(Disable any Rogue Science League enemy. 30 enemy kills required)

are both posible to do before rank 50, and you can do

Cleanup at Ryelis, Task 1: Re-Recruit Ryelis Waste Barges (Must be at least Rank 50 to start this task.)
(Requires: Use 10 Ryelis Contracts (25 energy each) on a Ryelis Waste Barges)

before you become rank 200

but wouldnt recoment trying any task other then these 3, before you become rank 200+
and even then the NPC you need to kill to do these 3 tasks will rank you faster then most players like
