I know some complain about lag but is there any room for upgrading the look of the interface?

A better star background image, it only gets loaded once so could be really nice
(it looks so low res on modern displays)

Top end standard modules
Player ships
NPC ships
Allies
Legion Bases

This could be put as a comunity project to submit entries with a size limit (file and pixel) and the top winners get their design used in game and a small GP reward

This requires no code alteration just swapping out files.. 5 minute job

crack open beer and enjoy same game that looks new and modern all thanks to a few grafics tweeks
