Just had a few ideas for the upcoming seasonal
Passive effects: Troop carriers expose themselves during this rapid expansion, making them avalible to those ranked 9999 and down Succesfull colonizations may trigger the bountiful harvist effect, causing all production to increase by 10% for 1 week Invasions only succeed up to 75% of the time
Elites
Zenitha, TO Freighter Rank 900 hauler share range 750-9000 While the sarkonis leads the harvest into new areas the Zenitha takes the vanguard transporting supplies and defences to help consolidate the outsiders controll in captured territory.
Elite 5
300,000 sheilds 200,000 hull
Abilities: beta wave weakness, Improved mind influence also debuffs defence by 50% Predictive defences: may sometimes boost defence by 100% when being attacked (this effect stacks) Ablative sheilds: Sheilds cannot be damaged unless under the effect of 3 focused disruptions
Focused disruption (activated ability) ships focus their weapons on a single point allowing the sheild to be damaged, lasts 1 hour. (when used debuffs the user with -100% Zenithar sheild attack for 1 hour) Basicly you need at least 3 pilots online to peirce the sheild and a 4th/5th to take out the shield.
Attack: 5000
Defense: 50000
Cloak: 1,000
Drops: Zenitha Transport bay 20% - ship mod Size: 50, cloak 100, defence 200 Limit 2 per ship Passive Ability: when both are installed colonization costs are reduced by 10%
Zenitha Headquaters upgrade 40% - Upgrades a sarkonis headquaters to a zenithar headquaters adding 1 artifact, 2 research 1 mining for a total of Size: 1 Research: 3 mining: 1 Artifact: 1 population: 500, defence +10%
Zenitha Extractor 40%- Allows the extraction of certian special structures (ulrudi, zane and raix chain structures)
Veret, Crimson raider Rank 750 The veret is an notorious oppitunist and has been using the chaos caused by the to expansion to raid the arms repositories on goverment controlled planets.
Elite 5 slots : 550-6000
250,000 hull Forward cannons: 100,000 health 250,000 sheilds
Abilities: Lighting raid- May strike at a player owned planet, reducing its defence attack and cloak by 50% for one day
Levy goods May raid a player owned planet, reducing production by 50% for one week
KERPLOWIE!!!! May fire forward cannons, instantly doing damage equal to 95% of player max hull health directly to player hull
suggestable: Improved mind influence also reduces defence by 25% defence: 13000 attack 24000
drops
Crimson Dropships 20% Size 50, invasion attack 300, limit 2 per ship Passive effect: reduces invasion cost by 5% if both are installed.
Crimson omnipod upgrade 40%: Upgrades a sarkonis omnipod to a crimson omnipod, increasing artifact by 1 and attack by 10%
Crimson Disrupter 40% chance: Reduces a enemy planets attack by 15% for 2 hours

I like these suggestions. All of these suggestions. Which for a post of this sort ... is a first. A most hearty +1 for you Anti-mining cat.  Ok... fully truthful ya got me on this: The size of the colonization bonus modules is one minor gripe, and I would think being an SSB you'd have the same issue with them. 50 decks would make them the largest module gained from an NPC(almost twice the size) or mission in the game. With the runner up being the Titan Proxy's at 40 decks.

I'm curious as to how IMI will interact with Ablative Shield. It's not an ability that is "used" persay but... if AS can't be canceled by IMI thou, I'd say it's a bit harsh on the smaller legions.
It's going to be management nightmare in any case, but I like that. Proper team work, coordination and oversight in a legion is always welcome.
The only detail you are missing is the share range of Zenitha and the rank(thus damage cap) of Veret. And does Veret have no abilities? bit boring for a 5 man largeish elite. Maybe it should generate some negative planet effects, that'd certainly be new.
Anyway, overall I'd say those are very interesting and nice ideas.

edited it to include possible veret abilities and added the missing ranks and ranges Im against ablative sheid being mind influenceable tbh, would rather people have to co-ordinate strikes

Heck it could be an NPC that is Fab Plant style and allows darn near the entire playerbase to join in. Everybody can get a chance at the drop. If it was a planet structure it would be ok.
If it were a module though it may be claimed as an unfair advantage by those at the lower end of the player base rank wise who were unlucky enough to miss out on the drop due to lack of active NPCers in their legion.
