10 badges for 5 GP
20 badges for 10 GP
30 badges for 15 GP
40 badges for 20 GP
50 badges for 25 GP
60 badges for 30 GP
70 badges for 35 GP
80 badges for 40 GP
90 badges for 45 GP
100 badges for 50 GP

As said above, people would be swimming in GP.
If you want GP, put your hand in your pocket and buy some.

I'll be brief, this idea sucks.
The cheating would be paramount to play. The game would be such a joke. You think people are overpowered now...it would turn into a silly mess.

You want a more reasonable exchange for badges to GP-- how bout this...5 gp in exchange for 10 of each other badge---red, yellow, blue, green, silver, dark and relic.
Then you might have something. Not OP due to time and expensive to collect 10 greens and for some to collect relics.
