id like to see something where you could retrain crew members ie maybe a scientist can be retrained as a helmsman etc

-1. Seems way too OP. Also you are essentially turning Android Scientists, Rescued Scientists and specialists into Helmsem or TOs.

A new Ally should have been introduced for GP as part of the Chuhn event...

How much is the cool down and -.5 bg have tons of scientist and no need for them so they get one hundred of tos or more a day if no cooldown

I have a feeling there just may be a harvest ally. I think it'd be nice if we got an ally or even just a ship mod that reduces upkeep more. even with bots it's getting up there.

Sexy, how bout a children of the corn ally...come harvest time sacrifice like 100 scientists for a 10% attack boost for an hour.

I will throw my 2 cents in with this, I would like to see a "chaos" ally that randomly (as in each day rotates) say -20% crew of one type +5% to the other 3 types. (you lose some crew from transition) the good would be when you get extra TO/Engeneers/helmsmen the bad is that you would also each 4 days LOSE 20% of your same crew.

who would install an ally that reduces your to/engineers by 7.39% evey four days

If youre barking up the chaos ally road...why not make it like autonomous processor? No downside, just random benefits?

Ranks by eating 5/10 badges of 'random' type? Prolly cray cray idea...but what the heck.
