Too often when I'm killing enemies I realize I've been spending the past few minutes with one or more of my buffs having expired and consequently losing out on the benefits I could have accrued in that time. This is especially annoying for the Neural Interface, because it lasts only 20 minutes and I can't put on a new one until the old one expires.

There are several ways this situation could be remedied, but here I propose that a message pops up whenever a buff or debuff on your ship expires due to its timer running out. This way one knows immediately when the buff has expired and can remedy the situation. These messages should not accumulate when the game is not loaded, because they are only of interest to players currently playing and would be annoying to those who often log out with buffs yet to expire.

as someone who is fairly active in the GTC, i think having yet another source of popups would just increase the opportunities for lag, especially with the number of buffs / debuffs that are out there. a better idea would be if there were some corner box with the current active buffs / debuffs on your ship.

Something like this would be better than more popups.

it not hard to see when your buffs expire if you pay atention to what you are dooing
your attack/defence is listed when you attack, so those numbers drop when attack/defence buffs expires

and every time you kill an NPC you can point at Disable Reward and see how many exp you got to check if you are still running a exp Buff (and only need to check, when you know you are getting close to the 20 min mark)

so NO, we dont need another anoying pop up, saying your xxxx buff expired
an indicator like the one Darth Flagitious is sugesting, might Work if it can be done without causing more lag on the servers

Well if we wanted to reduce lag on the servers we could implement a multiattack button. Five times less server demand during combat.

also if we could have "attack" from from the npc selection screen instead of a popup of the npc then attack them would help,. just an attack/ use artifacts next to eachother, we don't need to see detailed information on every common npcs we have ever killed.

Excellent idea

So... Make it even easier for scriptwriters/users?
