The game would definitely have more variety if each race had different specific colors for small boosts in the game.
For example, we could have a konqul ship that is red and it deals extra % damage based on the damage dealt on the enemy ship. Or maybe a blue aerlen ship that has a higher chance of dealing critical hits.
My ideas for different colors for each races for more variety.
Red - Increased damage dealt when attacking and being attacked.
White - Decreased the damage when receiving hits from attacking and being attacked.
Black - Increased chance of acquiring rare artifacts, more research or minerals at random when collecting.
Yellow - Decreased chances of being successfully raided by someone.
Blue - Increased chances of critical hits by a % when attacking and being attacked.
Green - Decreased chances of receiving a critical hit.
These are just ideas. You guys got any ideas?

i'm not sure this is something I would want added to Dan's priority list honestly. Each race has it's own bonus already. Sorry mate -1

Don't even go there.... bringing the point up itself is a bit racially disrespectful, people shouldn't be associated or defined by a color. As far as color itself goes, I kinda agree with the guy, black is my favorite color in most things. All my electronics are black and most of my cloth are mostly black or white. No, i'm not a goth, I just don't like flashy stuff. And with that, most shades of gray is also fine with me. I did like red when I was like 5, got past that pretty darn fast. Now I can only live with dark brown, red is wayyy too flashy for my taste now anywhere outside of a coke can.

Well i'm all for variety as far as aesthetics, so +1 to that...
But color based boosts? sorry dude. i dont see a ships colors painted on the hull granting boosts simply because of a paint job. -1
