Post subject: | Instant Loyalty |
I lot of legions have sub legions and leaders or members often jump between them. This means that after each jump that member does not have loyalty and therefore can't scan for or take part in battling bases or send out alerts for a week. I would like to see an admin option added for the leaders and/or officers of a legion to make a person loyal instantly if they wish to take these types of jumps into account. |

So the ni knights have the darmos games up? jump to them, gain loyalty, complete task, leave. Join another legion, gain loyalty instantly, complete task leave. Similarly, join legion, kill base, leave, join legion, kill base, leave -1 |

It's hard for me to see the point in having a loyalty mechanic if the penalties can simply be waived... |

How about some kind of option to permanently link 2 legions, they could share the same base locks automatically to avoid doubling up on badges, and members would lose loyalty if they go to a 3rd legion for any amount of time. and also only one of the legions could be allowed a mission control center. All i know is i'm sitting here on the 5th day at my sub legion and i'm going CRAZY!!! |

Nope, sorry. Look up the definition of "loyalty" and you'll see why this isn't a good idea. |

Noun "A strong feeling of support or allegiance" I looked it up and it's still a good idea Except legions are in all technicality Military organizations. By leaving a military organization to join another, you are either a turn-coat, traitor, transferred OR military attache~ Yes, we have made "sub legions" but the game mechanics treat sublegions as enemy organizations~ in exactly the same way as a rival legion. So sorry but -1. |

Maybe, just maybe, returning to your home legion a leader, a reduced time, 3 days? But instant loyalty altogether oh the fun we could have. |

The only way I can see this being workable is an option to "maintain loyalty" to the original legion- i.e. a legion jump option where you are accepted at the other legion and the jump is approved by your legion. You never gain loyalty to the second legion, but at the same time you never lose your original loyalty- you can jump back at any time without penalty (other than having to go through this bi-legion approval process). |

The idea of instant loyalty is just too open to abuse. For me, losing and gaining loyalty is just the price you pay for moving around. Don't want to pay the price? ...don't move. |

it could be okay if you could only use "instant loyalty" say once a year for a big amount of GP. |

ok then i'll modify the idea this should be a fairly simple change to protect against distracted clicks. I know it's happened to a lot of people. You are not totally paying attention and you accidentally leave your legion, you request to rejoin which is fine but you lose your loyalty. If you rejoin the same legion you left within a set about of time, lets say 8 hours to allow for leaders being offline, then you should rejoin and retain your loyalty and eligibility to base payouts. Basically your loyalty and eligibility timers only reset if you have been out of your legion for 8 hours or if you join a different legion, whichever comes first. |

Not saying yea or nay, but it would make "The Lone Conquerer" medal ridiculously easy. Atm it gives a very nice little bonus everytime you invade a planet, but a fair bit of pain/missing out to get it. |

Yeah I'm on the fence about it too. I feel like this will be abused heavily. |

If you manage to "accidentally" leave your legion, in spite of the fact there is an Are You Sure button, you DESERVE to lose loyalty. I'm serious. |
