Stats benefit other stats

Just a weird little idea I had. Maybe there can be a module that gives you a bonus to one stat depending on the level of a different stat. For example, say some sort of reinforcements that allows your ship to ram other ships would give you a bonus to attack equal to a percent of your defense (which is based off speed).

Its an interesting idea the theory is sound, However anything that does not give scan/ % bonus/ability or cloak is not worth deck space.

Well I was thinking of percent bonuses, except that you earn a bonus of X% of stat A applied to stat B. Current items are all X% bonus of stat A applied to stat A. I thought it might add some more variety to bonuses. Also, this sort of bonus could be applied via artifact instead of via module.
I thought of some more examples. X% of your scan benefits your attack (detecting weaknesses), and X% of your cloak benefits your defense (hiding key points or where the ship is entirely). Or maybe X% of your max energy powers up your attack with more powerful shots, or your defense with more powerful engines.
