I am sure this is not a new idea, but wanted to bring it up. With the larger bases and huge energy requirements, there should be a button that just allows players to dump all their energy (or at least raise the cap to 20000 a deposit) into the base. 2000 at a time is a huge pain in the butt when you are donating energy to a base that needs 28 million energy. This should be a very simple fix that could be done immediately.

Interesting idea. Personally, I'd love to be able to jump 23.000 exp into the next rank in one go.

Would love it too, but the problem is it gives players too easy a way to spend excess energy before leveling.
With one click you can dump boatloads of energy into the base, and start anywhere from 2k to 100k exp into the next level.
Infinite speed leveling, 100% energy usage, no waste ever, no planning needed.

Infinite speed leveling, 100% energy usage, no waste ever, no planning needed. Keep the current method of donation, i.e. 1xp per 1 energy donated within the current set limit of 2k. But employ a new button wherein you can dump, as suggested a specific set amount(tbd by Dan) of energy to the base, but you only get a maximum of 2k xp from doing so. This would allow large donations of energy when close to ranking without energy wastage or xp gains making it OP.

How is base donation an auto ranking problem at all. At only 1 xp per energy, its one of the less efficient ways to autorank?

I am a little tired of adding energy in at 2000 each shot.
How about something like this:
You can add as much energy to the base as you have exp left to rank.
eg if you have 20 exp left to rank you can add up to 20 energy. eg if you have 60,394 exp left to rank you can add up to 60,394 energy.

eg if you have 20 exp left to rank you can add up to 20 energy. eg if you have 60,394 exp left to rank you can add up to 60,394 energy. That works, but it doesn't make a difference. I still fail to see what the auto-ranking problem is: 1. I can donate as much as I have, up to 2,000. 2. I can donate as much as I have, no limit. 3. I can donate as much as I have, up to the amount of exp to next rank. In all 3 of those scenarios, I gain as much experience as I had energy that I donated. There's not a way to get extra "free" experience. Worst case is that you waste energy if you rank up with some energy still in your energy bar. Absolute best case scenario is that you use every single energy to gain experience. All 3 scenarios have the same best and same worst case - there's no way to get additional free energy or free experience out of the deal. And it's FREAKING 1 to 1 ratio; if that's an autorank problem, then what the hell are we ever going to about NPC autoranking?

I have been autoranking on bases the past 200 or so ranks. Nothing mentioned here will stop autoranking or prevent it Its going to happen regardless. We can however make it easier on the hands which is basically what this thread is about.
The equiv in terms of NPCing would be a button that instantly kills the selected NPC.
Just time savers allowing us time to do other things on GL
