Dan, Now that planets aren't a cake walk to come in and trounce all over them then take them away can you please look at the 24 hour timer on planetary invasions? With a say 30% or less chance each day to try and take/takeback a planet there is really alot of room and time for the defender to make a planet nigh uninvade-able. lazuli pylons, coucil bases, magnus statue, etc really really add up now meaning it might take several invasions to acutally have a chance to take the planet that means perhaps a week or more of fighting. I see this mostly as a problem for lower level players, I watched a higher level player come in sweep clean the planet because he can easily then invade. He now hasn't added to the planet's defenses but the lower level player even popping artifacts has less then a 20% chance to reclaim his planet. This adds up to five days of him fighting to reclaim what was his, with no effort on the part of the higher level. I guess my point is I love the new hardness of cracking a planet, I don't fret so much that I'll be gone to work come back and find one of my best planets stole and fluxed away. But it seems the invasion end of things is a little unbalanced. |

This has been suggested before and I agree. Like the cool down period on hack/raid failures, it should be 1/3 or 8 hours, 12 at the most. |

Howabout a 24 hour timer for sucessful invasions, and a 12-hour timer for failures? |

I would agree with reducing the time significantly but I think that a legion alert should be added. The moment a planet is attacked, an alert should be sent to the planet automatically. "Governor, our planet is under attack, call for help." "I can't, the red phone only works when our owner's ship is logged into a facebook game." |

I remember this came up in a topic before, and Dan even commented and said he liked it viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3177&hilit=legion+wide+alert Perhaps it will happen soon? |

There is already that in place i believe Kaos? You get informed when a planet is under attack? I might be on a different page. Anyways, I'm in full support of this, 24 hours for successfully invading i can deal with but 24 hours for failing... that's just a slap in the face. 8 hour cooldown would work fine for me .. that's 3 attempts per day, still not a great deal with a 30% chance each time but it's better odds than before. |

Bear in mind that the people trying to get your planets will also have that cool-down. As I see it 24 hours or 8 or 48 it doesn't make much of a difference. If you failed people will/should build enough defence to make the conquering a bad/impossible idea anyways. What I'd like to see is a repeatable "The Paradox Project". |

Doesn't bother me, planets shouldn't be fortresses, they should be takeable with some effort .. but waiting 8 hours is more bearable than 24 hours. It works both ways, i know but at least you get an attempt at invasion instead of sitting twiddling your thumbs. |
