why is it so expensive? I know that 16 GP isn't even $3 but still, it's an artifact that produces no real bonus to the player except for the mild entertainment of naming a planet whatever they want or the mild confusion that it gives enemy players at seeing this oddly named planet in their charts that wasn't there before.

I personally think it should have some other kind of bonus if it's going to cost 16 GP, such as a temporary cloak bonus.

You're complaining about something that is purely aesthetic. If someone wants to pay for naming a planet, it is their choice.

I'm not complaining, I understand that it's their choice. they can do what they want with their money. but you would think that something like that would provide some kind of bonus.
