This is a continuation of Part 1: "Secrets and Beginnings".

Open Hostilities: 2 completions
Some pirates are in a skirmish with an allied trade frigate near our borders. Step in to stop the fight before things get messy.
Reward: Newzaril Armaments (size 7 module, +30 to invasion attack, +30 to crew strength (effects raids)), looks like a bunch of handweapons and beam swords, in yellow and red

The Newzaril War: 5 completions
(Newzaril speaking) I have received orders to combat all ships holding Navrik passengers and take them prisoner. This has broken our long stalemate with them. Not all Newzaril agree with this, and these orders seem very odd. If you can convince me I can lead you to the ships leading the raids.
Reward: Newzaril Turncoat (artifact, grants +5 to tactical officers, helmsmen, and engineers), looks like the Newzaril in the mission picture, wearing a cloak

Sinister Supplies: 4 completions
(Newzaril speaking) With our new warships we will finally conquer the feeble Navrik! No race will stand in our way. All thanks to Asran the death merchant!
Reward: Continuum Warship (battle, when defeated drops Prototype Continuum Reactor), the Prototype Continuum Reactor is a size 10 module that grants +20 attack and +20 energy, it looks like a Antimatter Reactor but completely a dull chrome with a few metal rings around its length.

A Deal with the Navrik: 3 completions
(Navrik Speaking) By your sabotage of the Newzaril war machines, I can definitely tell our trust in you is solid. So on behalf of the Navrik race, valuable trade negotiations can be underway. There is great value for you if this allegiance is instated.
Navrik Trade Center (size 3 building, +3 to all resources, 1 per planet), looks like a relay tower with a ring base, in yellow and blue

Mutual Betrayal: 10 completions
(Navrik Speaking) Very recently the Prime Navrik Treasures were stolen and smuggled through your trade routes! Find them now or no explanation will save you from the consequences!
Reward: Newzaril Blitzer (battle, when defeated drops Newzaril Combat Program), the Newzaril Combat Program is an artifact that grants +5% attack, +5% defense, and +5% cloak for 24 hours. The artifact looks like 0’s and 1’s in yellow and red

Behind the War: 3 completions
The data we took off of the Newzaril ships point out 3 hidden outposts where the Prime Navrik Treasures we taken. We also now know that whatever pushed the Newzaril to war commanded it from those outposts. We must clear our names and hopefully find who is responsible for all this.
Reward: Prototype Continuum Device (size 15 module, +20 to cloak, attack, and scan), looks like a mini-planetarium in a dull chrome color, with a spire going up the middle

The Coming Storm: 1 completion
Our searches of the outposts have revealed the Prime Navrik Treasures undamaged and the building abandoned. In our scans of the outposts however, we found one clue of the thieves, fashioned of technology taken from all across the Galaxy, with the name ‘Asran’ etched into the side. In revealing hidden plans found at the outposts, the Newzaril have issued a ceasefire, ashamed that someone was manipulating them. The Navrik have pardoned us and have even extended a gift of apology.
Reward: Navrik Mind Storm (artifact, target player is disabled and pacified for 48 hours), looks like a calming amplifier with multiple yellow rings surrounding it

The Navrik: A pacifist race, they rely on their empathic abilities to end hostilities. Because of this they choose the most charismatic Navrik as their leader. From their extended lifespan they tend to be wise and aloof. They are tall and thin, with skin ranging from a pale grey to a pastel yellow.
Racial ability: Hyclon Nova Field (if you have not used an offensive action in the past 2 days, then anyone attacking you is automatically pacified for 1 hour)

The Newzaril: An uneasy truce is all that stands between the Newzaril and war with the Navrik. Naturally immune to all amounts of mental probing and control, they are well known for creating many war machines and taking advantage of unpredictability and deception. But with their physical similarities some say that the Navrik and Newzaril were descended from the same race.
They are an NPC-only race

A few notes on the development:
*Having the Navrik as a player race was designed for those who like to stay out of PVP, as their ability gives pacifists a great deal of protection against attack. But as fair warning, hacking will drop your protection and the protection doesn't count hacks against you.
*The Newzaril Turncoat was an attempt at creating a reasonable artifact that grants crew, and the Newzaril Armaments was designed to be a helpful attack module without actually granting a strait attack bonus.
*In the Sinister Supplies mission I wasn't sure whether I should label the warships as Newzaril or Continuum because they were piloted by the first and built by the second.
*The Newzaril was first designed for a completely different purpose, but because I needed a combat-oriented race to be fighting the Navrik I scraped that idea and put them here.

And a background to the missions:
The Continuum appears to be an organization that takes bits and pieces of other technologies for their own inventions. Someone named Asran sold warships to the Newzaril, was behind the theft of the Prime Navrik Treasures, and he was behind the kidnapping of the Vox diplomats in part 1. Yet every time he never entered combat and has always returned what he has stolen. What could his motives be in doing all this?

Hm. I like this one. I look forward to seeing more! (I hope you have been reading mine Zophah) although, personally I'm not sure very many people would like to be the Navrik. (Then again, armed with Genetarr, Stryll, Newzarill, Crimson Blades, Drannik, and other such tech, who needs to be a pitiful pacifist?) Mind be a useful power though...I look forward to see what happens next.
