More Planets Need Adding?

Post subject:  More Planets Need Adding?
Just had a look on my scan percentage noticed how many planets were in the galaxy then thought how many players actually play the game so went on the galaxy legion fb page.

My results are as follows:
There are 744'300 planets in the galaxy & 58'334 Acitve users per month
This works out to 12.759 planets per person

I was just thinking maybe more planets need to be added what do you guys think?

I think everybody would like that; and 12 per person does seem kind of low, so maybe it's time for more in an objective way.

i think more should be added, but when the devs have extra time. i would love to see new stuff inplimented first, and this could be one of those things for whenever. Personally, i think there should be 20 planets per person existing in the galaxy. I myself already have 35, and scanned well over 100, of which most are crap planets. I realize i havent scanned THAT many compared to the level 350+, but it offers a good indication of whats out there.

I think it would also be a good idea to toss all the lower-level, long-term inactives (AKA quitters) and throw any planets they have back into the "unoccupied" pool...

But I am voting YES to more planets. Especially more of the uncommon or better type...

Yeah, it would be nice, but it's not too big of a deal; if somebody is inactive it's pretty easy to take their planets.

But they would also need to look at the average level of people as well, 12 planets per person isn't too bad if the average level is <20 (each person could have 6 planets) but otherwise that is a problem.

What I was thinking is that the rank 10 player would be afraid of invading a planet they scan that is owned by some rank 25 player not realizing that guy hasn't played for 4 months. My addition would open up some reasonable "starter" planets for the low level players. But as I said, I'm all for having more planets in general.

i think re gifting would be a better way to free up planets. there are a few i would love to give to my lower ranked legion mates but because they don't have a scan of it i can not.

i feel if a person has been inactive for 4 or more months they should be booted unless they sent an email to dan ahead of time asking for there account to be locked because of a reason like being in hospital or out of country on safari or something along those lines

I would like to see the galaxy double or more part of the reason planet ideas for knew ones are out there. also with all the cloak going around all the good planets will be impossible to find for new players so the ones everyone wants do need to be added more just cause with cloak the uncommon are becoming rare and the rares are becoming a laugh to even think about getting but those are only my thoughts.

no, what really makes me mad is, ive found this nice planet, its a terra X3 on everything besides research, owned by player Y, lvl you ask? oh hes a lvl 8. and hes been that way since i scanned the planet. it has nothing built on it and all i do is stare at it and drool. its like a fat kid on a diet, i wants it but cants has it. damn protection til lvl 20....

It only lasts for 2 weeks so it should be available to you sooner or later.

The next step would be to figure out the average rank of all the active accounts, and then divide that by 4 and add 1.
