 New Race Ability

I got a thought when reading forums.

For this idea, lets just use styrll as it matches the idea.

The idea is that you have an additional NPC slot. How ever this slot is unique.
The additional slot targets a NPC that you choose.
The slot can be turned on or off. if you wish to use it or not.

The NPC can be any you have targeted before. Including ones that you can no longer see.
Mission NPCs and others. Each set of NPCs have a respawn timer. so for example.

You choose a common NPC. Say Crimson Flamehawk. Because its common, It will respawn one every 2 hours (after its been killed)
Uncommon is 4 hours, Rare is 14 hours, Extremely rare 18 hours.

You are certain to get the target NPC every respawn. The Ability name could be Delta Signal Tracer.


As well as the race benefits, a new profession called "Targetor" can be with this race.
You choose a NPC again, and the ilikelyhood of finding that NPC is doubled. (If thats to overpowering, boosted by a certain %)

Certain races allow you to boost a planet's production by 1 every 40 hours. This would allow you to boost all 3 resources 2 or 3 times in that time period if you just chose to have troop carriers appear.

Drannik is worse, You can get 5 troop carriers a day.

If i had time to NPC for 3 hours every day, i would get 5 troops carrier or more a day.
My NPC attack is 29k, with out more harder to come by benefits.

if i turn drannik, i would have near 40k NPC attack. i would be 1 hitting nearly everything, meaning much more time for troop carriers to
appear.

Yes 1 every 14 hours is more that 40 hours. but research and mining is crap. Only artifact matters.

It is a good idea but poorly executed.

Perhaps! Instead of that we have these times and what they do.

Common - Pickable NPC - Spawns new every 10 minutes
Uncommon - Pickable NPC - Spawns new every 4 hours
Rare - Unpickable NPC - Spawns a random RARE NPC every 16 hours
Extremely Rare - Unpickable NPC - Spawns a random ER NPC every 24 hours
Elite/Boss - Unpickable NPC - Spawns a random Elite/Boss NPC every 24 hours OR when the last one expires (Whichever comes last)

your point about drannik is irrelevant. you can still npc perfectly fine while this race. i can easily have 45k npc attack while not drannik and kill just as much as if i was drannik because once you kill in min hits more attack doesnt matter.
doesnt matter what you think of mining and res more mining and res plus the same amount of arti boost in less time doesnt make sense unless it has other major drawbacks.
maybe if you couldnt find the npc you chose while its timer was waiting.
maybe along with a reduced rare/extremly rare chance

or maybe what shortwave suggested.

i would like this ability for certain npcs i would say cancel out the troop carriers since yes i agree it can be abused badly but hey bring back some strylls and others npcs that us higher ranks no longer see and use it as if it is an elite npc that at it rank it would be allowed to be shared this elite is not and you have to solo it and does not go towards the solo boss/elite npc count
