Now, 5 energy per message is a bit ludicrous although i understand why it's there but should there not be a level you get to, or some way to confirm you're not a dumbass spammer? Or maybe a message limit, you can post XYZ messages per day?
I don't like wasting energy but I also love a good war of the words and currently I cannot do the latter because of energy being my higher priority (as should any other person's with half a brain).
So basically... drop the energy thing please? Use some other way to deter spamming, I'm sure it would only be abused by bots and immature players anyway.. both of which can be deterred through alternative means.

it does get to be a pain but it has +'s and -'s , but really i think it's in the developers scheme to encourage you to purchase GP , that is his goal of building this game

So maybe an artifact (purchasable with GP) that lets you ignore the 5 energy per message limit for X amount of time, like say 10 for a day or 35 for a week?

How would you like to logon and find your comm filled with nonsense trash talk and idiocy from jackwads like EvadeLuwat? That's pretty much what would happen if there was no cost comms, especially if you get involved in a legion war.

i wouldnt mind a zero energy cost, but then i would not want the ship comm posted to my homepage. That way i wouldnt be 'spammed', if i didnt want to read it then i wouldnt.

I think Vekno's response to the spam is a good one. I'm really not worried about annoying things posted on my comm, I can delete them, but it would be annoying if it filled my feed, because then it'd be hard to find things.

The feed really needs seperated itself anyway, into legion alerts/attacks against you/planetary issues/messages if anything.
A purchasable one-time artifact for GP that was something like 20-40 GP.. for unlimited messaging .. I'd buy that.
