 For Christmas why not have an item that increases the chances of finding rare npc's. Solar storm stopping your Christmas delivery? Supernova blocking your flight trajectory? Rudolph's Red nose can sniff out the faintest warp signature and guide your ship to the rarest of bad guys even through the most dense gas nebulas. Increases chances of finding rare or better npc's by 5%. Limit 2 per ship. 48 GP or something similar.

Most of the time when Dan includes special event items he names them like "F.A.T.H.E.R, M.O.T.H.E.R" etc. To fit theme I think it should be R.U.D.O.L.P.H. We just need to figure out a word for every letter lol.
