Multi-Level Single Player Tournament Galaxy Legion to hold a tournament between all players within a certain rank. For example: Level I- Ranks 0 – 75 Level II- Ranks 76 - 150 Level III- Ranks 151 - 225 And So on. 1. The players involved in the tourney must battle opponents individually (Legion Alerts will be disabled) 2. Once a player defeats an opponent, energy, shields and hull will revert to 100% 3. Planets of competitors will be untouchable while the player is still in the tourney 4. Players cannot receive artifacts or minerals from legion members once tourney begins 5. Winner of each level will receive a new planet, equivalent to an exotic in resources, gold in color and called “XXX: Planet of Champions” 6. Winner of each level will receive a champion trophy, worth 10 hours of resources. Open to further discussion |

I think I like the idea in general, they'd have to figure out if people in the tournament could only fight people in it, and people not in it could not attack them, and decide how people will be matched up (do you get a target to kill, or just a list of people and you try to get the kill on as many of them as possible?) but I like it in theory. |

Ah, so elimination style? I think some sort of "most points wins" style might be better suited for this type of game though. |

Thanks, Remric, I believe this idea (theory) or whatever you want to call it will motivate more game play....and even possibly more ppl buying GP for power ups befor the tourney. I am hoping many payers submit their suggestions so Dan can formulate a project encorporating the most popular ideas. I am not opposed to a point based tourney as FerrusManus suggested....I just would like to see one develop......not that I will be in any shape to win with the route I took for my current ship. But would be interesting to see the competition outcomes. |

oh my suggestion would be to randomize the fight so even same legion members can fight each other. somewhere you can test your mettle against your friends

Yeah, the Arena in Castle Age was the only time I ever spent money on that, buying refills to try to get more points, and I think that's what'd get the most money, if they did a points-based and had different tiers of rewards or something, not just that 1 person from each level gets a reward, if that were the case most people wouldn't bother. Even in Castle Age, where everybody got something and you could just sign up for it, not do anything, and still get some prize, a lot of people didn't bother, so I imagine if only a few people would get something most people wouldn't sign up. |

An ARENA option is also a great idea, but what I would like to see is an actual tournament with a winner for each level. Come to think about it, the battle tab, with the ability to fight NPCs and other players takes the place of an "arena" doesnt it. |
