How about an artifact that removes NPC's from your battle list? It's kind of annoying to wait 8 hours for the weak NPCs to expire. You could make them pretty rare or even common, like the planet purge artifact, since there's no guarantee the next NPC on the list will be better.

Interesting artifact idea. I like the idea as a rare artifact that way you could eliminate some damage you take by destroying the commons in hopes of getting the rares. If you made the artifact a common or even uncommon it would take away somewhat from the NPC side of the game.

Best way to purge NPC common is to attack them. Of course you have to have good NPC killing stats. Concentration on energy alone will make you finish lots of mission but attacking NPC needs to concentrate on Weapons, Defence Hulls and maybe a little of shields

i know this thread is a few days old, but this IS a good idea. would love to see it put into the game. +1 (or +2 if i can fudge the numbers. lol)
