Could this be displayed on the legions page instead of having to use a window?

My legion communicates a lot and unless you specifically click the comms link you can miss out, especially if you're a new player/new to legions.

I think the problem lies in that most active and enthusiastic players have already been assimilated into DOO. All the leadership and initiative in the world won't fix it in an instant. These types of fixes don't leave much to b**** about though.

yes Dan could we have the chat for legion moved to the news tab....there is plenty of room under the galaxy news for a small chat window for legion chat to be added.

If there the comm can be seen in the news as a refreshable items or even like the red framed alert that we get for NPC ships that can make a lot of difference.. chat would be the best but if its too complicated.. hitting the refresh button to see the comm chat wont be that bad...

But still a Legion Chat or Comm would be nice..

i think this is a good idea too, but to expand to it, instead of it being in the legion window, put it in the main menu so it shows up all the time no matter what your doing, like a chat window. This would help out my legion because im the only one that trys to start conversation and hardly anybody replies. My legion doesnt like to talk and that bores me, but it could be because they just dont check the legion comm. A global chat of everybody that is online playing is another good idea too.

yes the current legion comm sucks.
should be something like knights of camelot where it is always on the screen.

Other option would to make it become a pop up so it is a lot more noticeable. Though said set up should have the option to be turned off.

Though this would for the most part make the legion com a chat box. Which might not be a bad thing.

Why do the messages disappear from the Legion Comm after a day or two? Getting your legion to check the Comm is hard enough, plus, if I want to communicate something to the legion as a whole, I have to keep reposting it because after a day or so, it disappears.

The messages should be permanent, with newer messages appearing at the top.

It helps with bandwidth to reduce the number of posts to load, so maybe change it to be limited to 40 posts or so?

that would reduce it by quite a bit, its currently at 100 posts, or 2 days old.

only if alerted NPCs goes into battle tab, NOT counting towards ones own npc slot counts, it would be ok with me

Improving how we communicate as players with one another should be top priority. This is an MMO and frankly communicating isn't exactly one of the things i enjoy about this game.

Any and all of these suggestions to improve communication within the legion corp would very helpful, and avoid a lot of misfires, unintended hostilities and people reacting to old legion alerts when then havent checked coms to see if that event has been dealt with. Just an increase in the Legion Alert Insta Whole messages would be great. something along the lines of.. CEASE FIRE!!, - EVERY PILOT CHECK LEGION COMS NOW.- PRONTO AREEBA.! - SEE ME! ( in red ink ) etc etc.

I agree with the legion chat idea as well rather than the comm. We use ours constantly. I think it should still be situated on the legion tab rather than the news tab.

I have had a few complaints now from officers and members of my legion about the legion comm system. We need a chat room for every legion that refreshes faster. One of my officers suggested a skype system...

I like this idea, this might get the legion i am in to communicate more, hopefully.

I agree with a chat system I think there should be a real time chat under the legion tab for coordinating efforts maybe once clicked it opens a floating popup window or just a small chat window in bottom corner of screens ,but I also like the alerts goin to the news tab and I think a fleet leader /officer should have option to click on a button to post to news from the legion chat window in case its a fleet wide message but not all fleet members are on at the time ie Stop attacking so&so or please all try to be on at a certain time what have you and what not .

I would also like to see a color change of legion member names red for offline and green for online .
